Phone JOB issue. When I get three to the RF, over 90% of the time it's also four to a flush. I always hold three, but it's incredibly annoying to give up the promising flush. Do they have to make it a conundrum for players to keep it interesting? Just an irritating programming choice. Does anyone have similar practice game frustrations?

Happens to me all the time also. When I play DDB I often get 3 aces and a pair for a full house. You always throw the pair away and try for the other ace. I would rather just get dealt 3 aces and no pair.
I think it's a plan!

These are the same people who put fluoride in your water and sold your ex-wife the carpet for the toilet lid that makes your son sit down to piss.
Curses on them and theirs.

Hands like these are common. For example, how would you like to throw away a $50 straight flush with three deuces going for a quad? I do it all the time. Going with the math is the right play. If you choose to go your own way, it will cost you in the long run. However, it's your money play the way you want. I've brought this up before. My wife always takes a non deuce ace high suited pair to a royal when playing deuces wild. The penalty in quarters is about 3 cents a hand and she is fully aware of the cost. She definitely gets a lot more wild royals than I do and has hit two actual royals with her strategy. It's pretty depressing to watch her hit wild royal after wild royal, especially since she delights in pointing each one out to me. If you add up all the 3 cent penalties, will they wipe out her royals? Who's counting?

The exact same thing happens to me on my PC when I practice here.
The same hold applies to 9/6 DDB and 8/5 BP.
On the bright side the math is correct on the hold and if you hit a royal one time
then when you draw this particular hand it would not bother you anymore.
In the casino the frequency is not as often.
The class III machine RNG is not as cooperative as the server software on this site.
The other thing I've noticed playing BP in the casino is when I have four to a flush and you dump a
A or break up a none paying pair of 2,3,4 a lot of time the draw card is the same card which leaves a sour
taste in my mouth. But Phil commented on a post a while back and basically said that the brain picks
up on negative and positive things that happen when playing video poker and it tries to created a pattern of sorts
that simply is not there, It is just things that happen normally in random environment.
When I started playing BP I was having hell remembering the holds on high end straights with cards from the
10 to the A. I found this video with Linda Boyd and it cleared it up for me real quick.
It also has some other hands and the proper holds.
I'm sure you have seen it, But if you have not here is the link...
