TDB - Aces & Jacks full house
This has never happened to me before. While it's nothing statistically spectacular, it was an interesting thing to me.
The monthly contest, I'm more 3 royals behind the leader board (and I did get one royal this month). I've no idea how folks can get that far ahead in 31 days.
So, anyways, this morning, I get dealt 3 aces and 2 jacks. A nice full house. But...on Triple Double Bonus, it makes sense to lose the jacks and hope for a 4th ace, preferably with a kicker 2,3, 4.
Well, I got half of what I was looking for: a 4 and ....another 4.
Ordinarily, when you risk the 40 credits, you end up with 15. Very rarely you'll get the 2k. But to "break even" with 40. That's really a nice feeling to take the risk, not get what you want, but not really lose anything either.

But were you dealt the ace you needed an the very next hand?
Hate when that happens (very often).

Its always tough giving up the full house dealt but glad to see you break even. Triple double is a harsh game with so much variation.

I'm always disappointed not getting the home run. On quick quads, dealt 33322, dumped a 2 and got a 2. Wanted the ace of course. Every royal or ace draw, I want it. Usually just a pair delivers, trips say next time. It does get me to chuckle getting the gamble refunded.

Your playing TDB, if you don't go for the big hand you shouldn't be playing. And remember, always hold the kicker.

I still haven't converted on a broken full house yet. Maybe in a few weeks? The game I play I tend to play the most in Vegas you're supposed to break Aces thru 4s full.
