As both Eduardo and I have previously stated, we believe that the process involves the random picking of cards from the deck, one at a time. There is no need for every possible permutation (not, by the way, combination) to be coded into the machine.

The "combinations" outlined on your edited original post are not, in fact, combinations, rather, I think, they are permutations. There are only four combinations of cards that create a royal flush, i.e., ace through ten for each of the four suits, since order does not matter. A sequential royal, of course, is a different thing, but I do not believe that is an issue here.

Even considering permutations, however, I cannot figure out how you determined the 488567700 number you got for royal flush "combinations".
