President of the USA

Post by DaBurglar »

http://www.alternet.org/story/156234/ex ... the_trickI honestly believe the relatively few Americans who truly know and understand what's going on and allow themselves to be informed KNEW all this about the turkey before he won election, and I believe the relatively few Americans who are rational with a strong moral streak either did not vote at all or voted Anti-Trump.

And all this time I thought it was a race between Good v. Evil. Evil lost. America won. Not perfect, but close enough for government work. Trump 2020.

I am not a big Trump fan, but for cryin out loud, give him a chance. I grew up in New York and I know about his family business, and he certainly has treated people the wrong way over his career. It doen't matter, he was elected. Maybe the Russians put a device in Hillary's plane that prevented it from landing in Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania. The odd thing is, some of these folks on the left don't understand that if Trump is impeached, or forced to resign, Mike Pence is the preseident, not Hillary. Is this what they really want?

The odd thing is, some of these folks on the left don't understand that if Trump is impeached, or forced to resign, Mike Pence is the preseident, not Hillary. Is this what they really want?Yes, I myself would certainly feel far far better with Mike Pence......See, you and the previous poster and a whole slew of other people are seemingly oblivious, or willfully ignoring, the facts about not only Trump himself but the Republicans, the Democrats and the whole government.    You seem to have forgotten that, until election night itself when Hillary rightfully LOST, MOST republicans (especially the good ones who have both a clue and integrity) were AGHAST that Trump was the nominee and represented the party.   The Man is dangerously incompetent, narcissistic, insecure, arrogant and a whole slew of undesirable traits that are NOW making themselves blatantly apparent.ENough with this "Give him a chance" crap....HE has his chance, he's had it since he was elected and what does he choose to do with it and how does it play out?    C'mon.....Just because someone like me is hypercritical of this scumbag self centered con artist  DOES not make me "of the LEFT" or whatever.....I cannot stand the far left either......But Trump is just ridiculous, and dangerous.   He is a Liar of the worst kind, and is bringing forth the most Hypocritical elements of the Republican party, as well as giving clueless liberals like Pelosi and the whackjob component of the Democratic party exactly the VILLAIN/Incompetent they need to recoup at least some of their setbacks.....I am NOT a fan of the leftist Pro-Abortion LGBT Rights that has hijacked the Democrats anymore than I am of the white lower middle class high school diploma crowd who represent Trump's "BASE" because they cannot fathom complex issues like the economy that has Hijacked the Republican party....Romney, Jeb Bush, Lindsay Graham and John McCain are the men who SHOULD be running things, but your typical Trump Guy bought into Donald's total disparagement and rah-rah ignorance of the campaigns and somehow equated Jeb Bush with "the Swamp"......Gimme a flippin' break!YES, Mike Pence would be a huge improvement, and even if someone IS a Leftist Democrat Pence at least will act responsibly and achieve some sort of bipartisan compromise where it should exist (like on Infrastructure, defense and Healthcare.)The article I pasted was to refute all the hoopla people attempt to make about Trump's so-called Business sense.....its a farce.   The man is one of the primary culprits in Atlantic City's demise (yes yes, he is not ALone nor even the WORST, but he IS a culprit nonetheless, and THAT is NOT something that makes you deserve to be President!!!!)The only ones who can "Contain" or ultimately prevent Trump from causing REAL mayhem, real damage and making things far worse are the REPUBLICANS themselves.    Incompetence, GROSS CLUELESSLY arrogant incompetence of this magnitude and in such high ranking postion,  is a far far bigger threat than anything else....ANYTHING.Trump is NOT draining the swamp, he is simply flying above it in his helicopters and spending a HUGE amount of time (and a HUGE amount of tax payer $$ spending every possible moment at his Golf Course/Sanctuary in Florida....)  This is the same guy who accused Obama of golfing too much, lol.

Burg, why didn't you run for president instead of simply complaining about it? Complaining is the easy part. Accomplishing something is more difficult. Trump's biggest and most important accomplishment so far was to keep a criminal out of the Oval Office.

DaB, you have said you don't "hate" anyone. This post disproves that. More vitriol against Trump than even Tedlark. So now I am oblivious because you disagree with me. When did Trump accuse Obama of playing too much golf? I missed that one.

As a private citizen, Donald J. Trump was repeatedly critical of President Obama’s fondness for relaxing with a round of golf.
“Can you believe that, with all of the problems and difficulties facing the U.S., President Obama spent the day playing golf.” Mr. Trump tweeted on Oct. 13, 2014. “Worse than Carter.”
“We pay for Obama’s travel so he can fundraise millions so Democrats can run on lies,” he said a day later. “Then we pay for his golf.”
Then for a third time that month, Mr. Trump tweeted about Mr. Obama’s golf habit on Oct. 23, 2014.
“President Obama has a major meeting on the N.Y.C. Ebola outbreak, with people flying in from all over the country, but decided to play golf!”

Trump also said if President, he would never take vacations, there is simply too much work to be done.

Bill, So within 11 minutes of my post you have quickly come up with 4 examples of Trump saying something stupid in 2014. Kudos to your memory or ability to look for these items on the internet.I am begining to wonder about you being an aspiring AP, what with all the posting you do here.

Google is my friend. It wants to be yours, too.
I multi-task. Just now, I'm bidding on two auctions on Proxybid, monitoring an auction that has items of mine for sale on Auctionzip and having conversations on Wizard of Vegas and the CGC board.
Just finished my daily perusal of Las Vegas Advisor and am preparing lunch- ziti parmesan, with a side salad.
needless to say, I'm not bored sitting around my house all day.
Three PM will find me in the Emerald Island for their 25X points on VP from 3-4, and perhaps on to the casino on Racetrack Road for their 3X points from 5-7.
Might hit South Point instead. They are giving away $50 gas cards for roughly every $8,000 cycled through a VP machine. Earned one so far and I think I'm at 6500 towards the second one. If not today, then tomorrow. Have a free buffet comp to use before it expires.
Usually, I post from the veranda in between laps of the pool, but it is too damned hot just now. Thermometer on my patio reads 117 just now.

Bill, I know you will get the last word in because you clearly have more time on your hands,. That's ok. While you are chasing your $10-12 dollar an hour plays all over town, I am relaxing having some down time today at the office. Billy, I bill my clients $200 an hour, so if I am not impressed with your lifestyle, don't take it personally. You are living the life. I will trudge home and have a cold one while my grandkids splash in the pool and bemoan the fact that I'm not you. I still can't get the image of Stuart from the Big Bang Theory out of my mind.
