Bagged the elephant and hit the Royal on .50c nsud. Was just hoping to hit the deuces and came across saving three spades to a Royal and binking the other two. Hit after about 30 min of playing. So ended up $1500 after all said and done. After hitting the Royal, had about $360 left of the original $500 buy-in and decided to go to dollars because more often than not, something good happens after the Royal hits. Well, nothing good hence up $1500 instead of $2k. No matter. Pleased with the result and walk away to fight another day.
Cheers

Dan,
Don't beat yourself up. You got the royal playing $0.50 denomination instead of the usual quarters. Congrats!

Predictable post-royal loss as .25c 10/6 DDB took back -$450 buckaroos. A few quads here and there, nothing premium...and nothing to see here in this session. On to the next one.
Cheers

Less predictable with JOB, DW, BP. Just saying.

Sat down at a NSUD game last night, and was dealt K,Q,J,10 of Spades first hand. Paused a moment, drew and got a deuce for a $50 payoff. Not what I hoped for, but a good start.
Kept getting 4OAKs, but nothing bigger so after about twenty minutes, cashed out up $77 and went to the other side of the casino. Fifteen minutes of breaking even when I draw five cards and get three deuces and Ace, Jack of Clubs. This time for $25.
Puts my winnings for the night at 99.50. I decide I will call it at $100 and am dealt a wild flush next hand, achieving my goal and making my free late night meal taste that much better.

Uh, not your journey. A little etiquette goes a long way.

So after a long brutal house move in the Vegas heat and a brief hiatus from video poker, got the chance to play a bit tonight. Played a 30 min session of .50c nsud and was falling asleep at the machine so couldnt play much longer...no deuces but caught enough royals with deuce and 5 of a kinds to wrap up a +$100 win. So on to the next...
P.S. Story from Billy was in context, don't mind it thank you. just keep them in context of the journey and it's kosher.
Cheers

Another Session of .50c nsud, didn't go my way this time as it takes back -$500. No deuces, and a surprise of no royals with deuce after about 2500 hands. This time I was the bug, hopefully next time the windshield.
Cheers
