Re: My Journey on Video Poker
So you eventually succumbed to my game. And sliced your loss by 70%. Glad you took off the Vegas shades and saw the light. Welcome to the grind.

Hym, I didn't know you owned jacks or better. lol... A lot of assumptions there my friend.
If Vegas shades is what you call playing NSUD deuces, 10/6 DDB, or full pay deuces (which all have higher ER rates than JOB), those are pretty good shades.
At any rate, I play lot's of different vp games, JOB just happens to be the one I'm playing at the moment.
Don't know why so many serious vp players think JOB is the bomb... be all and end all. It is not. Dancer would agree with me, Linda Boyd would be in the bomb category.
Is it a good game? Yes it is. IS it low variance? Yes it is. Can you play a long time on a limited bankroll and collect alot of points and comps? Usually. Is it the best game in the casino? Maybe, maybe not. But your innuendo that I've been in the dark playing different games I find a bit...insulting. And saying you own it? I find it a bit..foolish. Perhaps you just meant it's your "main" game in which case just say it's your main
game...not that you own it.
At any rate, had a ridiculous good one hour session of .25c jacks or better tonight...hitting all kinds of hands, minus straight and royal flushes. +$250 in an hour of single line .25c JOB can tell you how ridiculous the hour was. On to the next.
Cheers

Just pulling your leg. Yeesh. The game really doesn't get much chatter here outside of my thread, you'll concede. Everyone just lighten up. Crazy good session!

Took the chill pill, feeling good. Sometimes texts and bulletin boards make things heavier than intended. Was not my intention but to elaborate on some buttons pushed and issues presented. At any rate,
On with the show....

Was never ahead on this fairly lengthy session of quarter 9/6 jacks or better. About 4K hands. Gave back what we took last session, -$250. Decided I'm going to keep at it at this game until I hit a Royal...which hopefully will happen sooner than later, or in the statistical probability of 40k hands if possible. Or if they take away full points...or if I simply change my mind
Cheers

I often switch to Bonus Poker as it's the best game at our local casino. This lasts for a day or so when I wander back to deuces. DW is a hard game to switch from as it's just so darn exciting. I never switch back to BP during the day as it's a guarantee I'll hit quad deuces every time. 40,000 hands is along time to wait.

Sixteen months of watching the kettle. No wonder you simply pursue the buzz.

Back to vp battle after what feels a decent time off.
Was a good one this time as I hit the quad deuce with kicker
On 10/6 quarter DDB and followed it up hitting two quad deuces on fpdw netting a total of +$645 for this one. Managed one pic but not the other as security guards keep following me around...maybe from recording earlier? Don't know, might be paranoid but cooling the phone for a bit.
Still at the casino and not sure if I'm going to continue playing or not. Seems like the RNG (random number generator) can sometimes be favorable.
Cheers
P.S. Played bonus deuces wild progressive single line quarter while walking out the door. Hit a lot of 5 of a kinds including two aces. Up $200 on the game, +$845 for the day. As I hit the cash out button, this lady on my left hits the 4 deuces with an ace. She left earlier, came back, and within 5 spins, bam, $650 deuces with ace. Amazing.

Congratulations on big money. I believe in randomness, but within a window for the big stuff. At my casino, the Progressive RF only seems to hit on a certain day/time.

Without going too much into it, my last you tube video talks about what is better...working for uber or playing quarter single line full pay deuces wild for extra income on the side.
In the video I talk about how decidedly it is much better to play full pay deuces wild than working for uber as an uberX driver (over 90% drivers drive uberX, not addressing the other uber type drivers like select or black or SUV or XL). Reason I bring this up is because I know alot of tip earners in vegas looking for side money and thinking of working for uber or lyft. After paying for their own gas, wear and tear, taxes, fees, added expenses, well...quarter single line fpdw hands down is the better route. Check it out...you tube channel TheSuperdaniel1970. Under Dealing in the Desert July 28th.
Go hit some jackpots.
Cheers
