Temecula Area Casinos

Post by L.T. »

We moved from L.A. area to Temecula Valley about one year ago. After many years of Vegas area gambling we started to visit Indian casinos in this area.. We have now visited the seven casinos within one hour of our retirement home in Temecula. There are any more casinos over an hour away but we stay close. VP is wildly different in each casino. Harrahs casino is very large and the games are similar to Vegas strip, with no full pay games. Closer to us is Pala with the best pay VP of all, including NSUD in a progressive game. All dollar VP machines are connected to the progressive so it rarely goes over 4500, but is a fair game. We have settled down at Pechanga which is the nearest to home and has a decent 9/6 DDB in dollars. The free play and comp dining as well as some type of contest weekly keeps us from venturing out to other casinos although we get offers monthly from all of them. I am now considered a local and enjoy the perks of free meals, contests etc. I have no plans to visit Las Vegas in the near future....

It's been several years since I've played in any So. Cal casinos, but Valley View had the best VP and the best comps hands down. Not sure how they would rank now.

Just hit one of those dollar progressive royal flush VP at Pala, first time ever, but it was a surprise. They are hard to get just 4 aces and expensive. But it was fun ,once in my lifetime
