Buy less and save more

Post by Onenickelmiracl »

I was thinking about single coining at the store today. Was going to buy a 22 pound bag of cat food for $29, then I saw a 7 pound bag for $12 and grabbed it saving a lot of money. Then I bought 1 pound of sugar, half a gallon of milk, and an assortment of trial sized items. When I was checking out, the cashier gave me a dirty look. I bet she wanted to say something about me stealing from them essentially with my shrewd purchases, so I smiled right into her dirty look. Can't believe the savings. I'm thinking of not buying groceries anymore, I am planning on just eating out once a week and saving a bundle on my food costs. If one meal a week makes me hungry in between meals, I'll snack on ketchup and salt packets, wash them down with public toilet water.

Thanks guys for waking me up.

You do realize your giving up a lot of Shopping Club points by doing this don't you? You will never get that free can of Tuna or earn any entries towards the free barbecue cookware set this way.

I was going to make an inappropriate joke about cooking a certain feline, thereby not only saving you the expense of the cat food but also the expense of a meal too, but I decided against making that joke.

I DO NOT want the ASPCA picketing in front of my pet store.

Specious and highly disingenuous logic. Casino CS is hardly analogous to tangible market savings. Casino windfalls from bloated all out wagers are aspirational until realized, thus saving on the negative experience, from the moment one enters the premises, is of some value. Nice try. We agree to disagree.

I believe the definition of the word sarcasm has been eliminated from the English language.

I understood his intent perfectly well. It's just more fun to dismantle the post anyway.
