Re: Weekend Report Ladies Win/Guys Smoked
Larry--At Harrahs Cherokee, I received a stack of vouchers of $500 denominations. As I played, a friend but an employee told me to cash out each win. The dollar amount of the win came out as a cashable voucher and the balance of the original voucher stayed in the machine. Granted, the stack of vouchers we took to the cage was over three inches thick and it took forty-five minutes to convert to cash. The plan did work.

Hey OLDS, you can add me to the list of "moms" who know and comprehend what teachers like your wife endure every year......just create an additional column/category for "NON child bearing, Non-female, Non-Transgender, Non-Mom MOMs",
Hehehehe....but yep you are so right

Time for a Hurricane Party! So with Harvey coming in this weekend, our daughter has only one week to complete her play. She can't play the next two weekends following due to prior commitments. Should be an interesting weekend, we may have to team tag her free play since only one card can be used.

Pay845, An easier way is put in as much as you would want to play on that machine (like $20 or $50). After each hand, look at your Total Rewards point meter. When the bar starts filling in with a color, then you are earning points which means you are now playing with your winnings (cash). At that time, cash out because everything left in the machine is your winnings.

Weekend update: We stayed at Coushatta while the kids stayed at Golden Nugget.
With a constant eye on Hurricane Harvey, we changed our reservations to Friday from Saturday. Sweet C and I had decent nights with me catching several 5kinds dealt and I ended up with a nice cash out at the end of the night. My frustration came about with being dealt 4RF twice on a total of 60 hands and not one hit. Did hit two other RF one holding an A/Q. Sweet C played down but came home with money. We went to GN-LC to watch Carrie play and eat dinner with them. She played the remainder of her $11K of free play. The strategy was download and pull out tickets after big hits or at end of free money is hitting. Based on her pulled tickets my estimate is that she cashed out about 2/3 of her free play into cash and no "G" statement.
It was obvious at both locations that the crowds were significantly reduced by the loss of Texas players who stayed home for Harvey. With Harvey's move east toward La. and the current rain bands headed toward Lake Charles the casinos will have a huge loss over a 7-10 days.
