I have never been dealt 4 aces in my life that I remember. Could have been much sweeter a hand sooner, but I wouldn't call that "bad" luck. Congrats! $1 UX TDDB... you are a brave person.

Sub Optimal Luck. Which is an entirely different species than its acronym.

The scenario described is reasonably frequent if you play Ultimate X. Long term players learn to shrug it off. It's really just part of the game. The VERY bad luck was not knowing that the LINQ has REALLY BAD pay schedules. You could have found better versions of this game elsewhere. It wouldn't change the fact that sometimes you get nothing with good multipliers and sometimes you get good hands with very low multipliers, but you'll lose a LOT less money if you got more for every full house and flush along the way.Pay schedules REALLY, REALLY matter. Ignore them at your peril.

I was dealt four Aces on JOB. Just indicative of my overall VP luck.

I was dealt four Aces on JOB. Just indicative of my overall VP luck. Thursday, at Harrahs Lake Tahoe, while playing 10 line 25c JOB, I was dealt the four aces, with a deuce. A very nice hand, but nowhere near as nice as it would have been in many other games.

You are correct.
The pay schedule is really really bad.
I think the Station casinos have much better pay schedule

At dollars, probably. Stations is pretty bad for "gimmick" VP at the nickel/dime level though. Also Stations have a lot of older Ultimate X machines, so TDB may not even be an option there. I would hope that Linq was 9/5 at dollars? 9/6 is probably wishful thinking. I'll find out in a week!
