And, many of those people would never had qualified in a contest if they hadn't hit a big one.  You can use math to help better your odds but the math doesn't fully account for the secret seed which affects the randomness. If these games are exactly like in the NV casinos, there should be a guaranteed payout. But, the payouts are also based on a group of machines. So, if there's a group of 6 machines with a payout of 87%, and, someone hits a royal, all those machines are "tightened" up to bring the total payout down to the percentage.  The casinos aren't in business to Give money away...  lol
