I found this story far more interesting than the video poker drudgery. And it is silly to apologize for so called "lengthy posting"... you've criticized me for this exact same issue which for the life of me I will never understand. Your post wasn't that long, and many of mine that people b*tch about are not that long....
Seriously, unless you read like a five year old, how long are you really taking to read a post like the one you just made??? And after considering that, the Next issue simply is this:. If you cannot stand reading posts longer than a few sentences, then just skip the darn thing!!! Why gripe about someone making an effort to share on a forum designed for that exact purpose.
This was one of the better posts on this site in a long time.... I only wish others would do this....about any topic, anytime.
Having said all that, if I had made this exact post in the exact same manner as onemoretry, I would have been excoriated and told this belongs in the Anything/Everything section since it deals mostly with something not technically VP (which is not the case, this post is fine where it is, although obviously ANY post can fit in the Anything Everything section!)
I'm glad there wasn't any safety issue here beyond the simple basic level of air travel.
I think I will post a story of my own in that "other" section since this jarred loose an interesting aircraft malfunction story of my own!
