I'm glad it worked out for you.  My check's in the mail?

Somewhere in my garage is a 390 carb from a 65 Tbird. Would you settle for that? If not I have a NOS fuel pump from my 46 Olds flat head 6. And my buddy still has my 65 Ford 9 inch chuck with 355 gears, but that is in his 32 hot rod. He quote borrowed it from me 38 years ago. I'm still waiting.

Isn't it amazing the old stuff we have in our garage?  I still have parts for an old Burroughs Bookkeeping machine from back when I worked for them in the sixties.  I have original smog pumps I removed from muscle cars over the years and two full boxes of old fishing lures.  When I go to the big casino in the sky my wife should call American Pickers.  No need to send me anything.  I'm having more fun playing VP now than ever.   I wish you the same.

Maybe we should have a new thread instead of What's in your wallet, what's in your garage? Add to my list 3 or 4 crashed gas engine model airplanes from the 1940s. Just as an aside, back from another trip with the Mrs. She played the worst DDB paytable there is out there at 7/5 on a nickel machine and within 20 minutes lands a Royal holding only 2 cards and betting 15 nickels. That was good for 12,000 nickels. Just reinforces how important luck is in vp. My ten hours of play was ho hum with the emphasis not on the ho ho ho. Nice overnight trip though. Good food and drink and even better company after she had that hit.

Funny you should mention model airplanes.  I just gave away a bunch of old models myself.  Half were control line (remember them?) and half were radio control.   Back when we were kids, everyone built balsa models.   At 16, I gave them up and changed to Hot Rods and Girls.  I haven't given either of them up yet.  The biggest day I ever had playing Video Poker was playing 7/5 Jacks or Better.   I would much rather be lucky than skilled.  Having them both isn't a bad thing either...

On Game Kings the worst possible paytable is 6/5 DDB (94.66%). It's fairly rare to find in practice though. And yes luck definitely helps short-term results. Hope her next royal is even larger!

Yeah Vman, I saw that 6/5 once myself. Haven't seen it since. I think it was on a penny multiline game. Phil, I still remember building the balsa wood models with my dad. I wonder how much quote dope I inhaled building them. That is actually what it was called and we usually worked on them indoors with no ventilation. The toughest balsa one we made was a bi wing German Albatross. I still have in my parents basement on shelves all of the models I built. Most were revel kits. My favorite one is the 49 Ford with the early caddy v8. We also made the visible v8 engine which was the 283 chevy. Remember that one? Anyway back to video poker, I'm heading up tomorrow. The game plan is to play dollar single line Bonus Deuces Wild but on the spin poker machine. If I can get that lone machine that pays 800 for bet one and stick to just the center line it shouldn't be too expensive. I hate to bust out big time just before Christmas. Speaking of which everyone have a merry and healthy one if I don't touch base here before.

Zero recall. Then again, never there to begin with.

You didn't miss much.   A bunch of people sitting around stoned, young men shipping off to a war none of them wanted, people who were tired of being disrespected because their skin was a shade darker than the next guy and a bunch of politicians doing all the wrong things.  In the middle of it all was some of the greatest music ever penned.  I didn't have time for most of it.  I was too busy working trying to figure out what a "computer" could do.

Just back from that trip I posted about below. First dealt Royal I have had in years. All in clubs. I did stick to the game plan just playing the center line on the dollar spin poker machine Bonus deuces wild. Paid a very nice 4,000 bucks as I was betting 5 bucks a shot just on the center line. There was some pain though. Most of the time I play 3 lines but I was determined not go through a lot of money just before Christmas. Well, that means I gave up 8,000 bucks. It was a tough pic to look at. I have it on my antiquated phone. I'm not complaining by any means. That just what vp does.
