Powerball Fever

Post by FAA »

Powerball was $460M last night. I threw $10 at five self chosen tickets. I had my biggest win yet, $7. I guessed four of the five numbers and the PB. If on the same line, I would be $50,000 richer.

I once read that your odds of winning the Powerball are almost as good if you don't buy a ticket as they are if you do buy a ticket. :)

Sure. I would be elated at third place. The goal is much like VP, break even. Anything else is gravy.

I look at the lottery a little different.

I've got a 50/50 chance to win. Either I win, or I don't.

I think they call this half full versus half empty.

Gave back the PB $7 and three more. Ice cold this time. I should at least have done QP and saved myself the trouble. I never pick consecutive numbers, and that's what happened. 12, 29, 30, 33, 61, 26 PB. The very last PB choice which is often overlooked. SMH.

The fever has subsided.....until the next 10, or so, rollovers.

Exactly. Wake me in ten rollovers.
Mega millions winner was twenty, so not Phil. He took a $282M lump sum windfall. Bad luck or none for me.
