Just goes to show your system is a loser to!I see these people do this all the time and never once see them hit anything. It's a loser game to start with and to think running around spending money on losing hand after hand will make a profit .
To set this straight, you're in favor of a system of betting 20% of a normal size bet to get less than 20% of a machine's return. (what Phil claims as his method)  But you're not in favor of betting 50% of a normal bet to get more than 5 1/2 times a machine's normal return.  And you believe the odds from the latter bet are "never once" out of "all the time"?  Well, I'm happy you have found something that you have found funny ... because I have definitely found something that sounds funny.  Best of luck.

From my experience math doesn't mean much to a video poker machine. ... Mathematics is useful to a VP player. It is sometimes difficult to understand how you put opposing sentences in the same quote and believe that you should be taken seriously.Maybe you were a bit dyslexic on the first sentence.  Here is how it might read appropriately so it can be consistent with your 2nd sentence: From math, my experience doesn't mean much to a video poker machine. There is no reason to
discuss CS any further.I agree.  But somehow I doubt this will happen.

For the final time.

Really?  I'll believe it when I don't see it.  Actually, I can see that this final time lasted what?  A bit less than 90 minutes?

Encores are the stuff of opera. This site is all too operatic. Makes perfect sense. Hard to belittle someone who just hit a $2,000 RF at any rate.

your expected loss in chasing a $20,000 royal using CS is more than
triple the expected loss in chasing the same $20,000 royal just simply
playing max coin.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Yes, that is of course precisely the point. Phil is either being facetious or failing to grasp the immensity of this figure. What if I embarked on a CS course to chase the $4,000 RF? A $12,000 beat down sounds way too rich for my blood. Is this about right?

Yep, you got it right.

I wasn't aware that CS was that damaging. I'll review the post for emphasis. I don't play multiplier games except on this site, so that's not an option. The nice frill with CS is the sudden adrenaline of the max bet. Looks like we're paying an inflated premium for this.

Lifetime?A football player may drop 1,000 passes in his life, but one catch for a touchdown in the Super Bowl makes it all worth while. You pass miles upon miles of dirt on the way to the grand canyon, but once you've seen it... you talk about the canyon, not the miles of dirt.An owl can spend weeks gathering straw for a nest. All that labor and they will never get back the hours. But when the egg hatches, the mother owl knows why she did it.The CS player knows these things and more. AP's become analysts instead of wide receivers, studiers of dirt, and seldom gather straw because bringing new life is not seen as practical for the time.  Shame on you all. And three cheers for CS.

And unfortunately one of the frowns that comes with CS is the mumble "if only I had max coin in" that you make to yourself after you hit a single coin royal.

And three cheers for CS.Wait ... after two favorable posts, aren't we supposed to move up from three to five cheers?  Or do we double that on Thursdays?I did like the rest of your metaphors, though!!
