Left Out
Tamlynn Yoder spent most of her shift at an Outback Steakhouse readying a
take-out order for 25 people. The 75 item order, placed by a Christ
Fellowship church in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, included 25 steaks, 25 chicken dinners and 25 sides of potatoes. The
total bill: $735. The total tip: $0, she told reporters. It wasn’t long
before Yoder took her frustration to social media. She vented online about how
she only received $18 in tips that day from other orders because she was
so busy preparing the mega church’s order, WFLX reported. Before long, she was fired for violating corporate policy. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I'm sure that there will be plenty of opinions about this. I'd also like a certain Floridian's input. Please vote O (Outback) or W (Waitress). Further details are available on the web should you be interested.

It sucks she didn't get a tip, but if your job says you can't post about it on social media, then face the consequences.

Did she cook the steaks? Or the chicken? As I am quite certain the Church didn't wait eight hours for their food, I doubt she worked on the meal most of her shift.

I don't usually tip on take-out. But I also don't usually order 25 steaks (that would be a good day!)What's the standard protocol for an order like this?

No mandatory take out tip. Manager should have filled order himself. Blabber mouth was in a no win situation and just made it worse.

After reading thss latest absurdity, I am left with the following, not so spectacularly special insight: The internet, and all its spawn of social media monstrosities, is tearing at the very fabric (and sanity) of human society.....this to me is just one more non-ambiguous sign that the apocalypse is nigh......repent now, while you still have a chance.....

Last July in Northern California, Obdulia Sanchez live streamed her sister's death after she lost control of her car. She tested positive for cocaine and marijuana. Her sentence is 76 months.
