How to post photos

Post by wildman49 »

http://postimages.org/loginThis is all self taught and might be easier ways to to this. I learned from trial and error.Start by opening an account at postimages.org. Click the link above. If FAA and Ted can do it anyone can! I put all the photos I want to post on my desk top. Once signed in to postimages.org, click up load.Where it says do not resize you need to change this any time you up
load to 840x480. Then I click and drag all my photos at once to the
choose image box they will the up load. You can click choose images and a box will open for you to find your photos as well. /////////////////////////////Once all are uploaded go to my images at the top. You are now ready to move photos to poker site.you can only do one at a time, click the photo so its on the site by itself, right click on it and click copy image location.Go to poker site click picture frame tree and take out the http:// in URL box. Then take paste image in box. click preview. Then ok and then ok Photo should be in text box for your story to be told. /////////////

I started to address the following issue in DanMann's thread then thought better of it and just asked DanMann a direct question about HIS preference/decision in posting pics and instead decided to take my concerns with the ACTUAL image hosting website "POSTIMAGE.ORG" and put them HERE:The website "POSTIMAGE.ORG", which has come into vogue here the last week or so for posting images/pictures of VP hits, unfortunately also forces the user/viewer to be subject to a bunch of similarly sized and formatted ADVERTISEMENTS adjacent to the image being viewed, and these ads are almost ALL related to morally and legally suspect "DATING and MATCHMAKING "  websites for women (and men and Transgender too I imagine) from parts of the world I would imagine most of us would not consider actually visiting unless we had family there.....There are also other ads for other "Weird" services and websites....one of which keeps showing a pic of really nasty "toes" with something about Vinegar being the cure for whatever ails your feet....Anyone else notice, or care about this?   I'm asking, perhaps we just need a more reasonable, unobjectionable Image hosting website preference for the pictures we share here?   Wildman still deserves much credit for being helpful.....whatever happened to good ol' Instagram?   I admit I am not an expert or deeply versed in image hosting websites, so its possible enduring these annoying ads is simply a price that must be paid for "free" services like this......I dunno, that's why I am posting here.....

Yes DaBurglar I also notice the ads when you click the picture. They are clickbait and I would advise people not to click on any of the pictures.

They make those ads hard not to click them. Like you, I also do not like it.

Good work with the instructions and the efforts are much appreciated!

Most people are visual learners and you hit the sweet spot!

I made an effort back in 2015, http://forum.videopoker.com/forum/forum ... =7650&PN=2

Clickbait indeed.... what's most annoying about THIS particular site is the image you want to view is surrounded by six to eight same sized ads that appear to be images themselves at first......

Five years ago they might have been difficult to not "click"...today they are easy not to click just due to the fact they are so common and people's guard is up about computer safety and such...
