Re: My Journey on Video Poker
Thanks for answering my questions... so you live near Aliante station, thus you modus operandi seems to be a type of hit and run but with a set bankroll and a static approach to battle....you play until you reach a certain level of profit and then quit.
Are you on any type of "clock" here, meaning you commit to playing x number of hours or until your bankroll is exhausted or you attain a set profit target? What's the method behind this particular madness, lol?

Not to speak for the author of this thread but I believe he has written many before of going on tilt and playing more funds than anticipated so maybe he has no set bankroll?

I have no hard rules, and no set schedules...and my br’s are rules
Of thumbs and I have broken them to my deficit or
Profit since the beginning. I may be a knowledgeable player, but still consider myself a Recreational player. I play part time, have a full time job, and at the mercy of the vp gods like everyone else. I look for good
Vp Games, but obviously don’t limit myself to “positive†games. As I gain player experience, I find myself shying away more and more
From high variant games (DDB, TDB, etc) in favor of wild card games.
To each their own. But I always reserve myself the right to change it up.
Grinding single line fpdw all day everyday I would die of boredom.
Cheers

.25c 5 play deuces still working as I hit the deuces and cash out +$112. Did not play very long, about 30 minutes...
Not to be outdone, decided to take $10 of it plus $30 in points and see if sun and moon was willing to give back some of that $160 it took from me rudely last time. Fortunately, it gave most of it back thanks to a $50 scatter plus about 75 free spins. Was betting $1 a spin. Cashed out of that +$143. So total of $255 for this one.
Cheers!

Bag the royal no deuce this go around. Playing .25c 5 play deuces, flop 4 to a Royal...an exciting flop for 5 play, although I never expect to hit it. Somehow I did on line D. Nice. Started with $500, cash out $1305, a profit of +$805.
But, I felt bad as I sometimes do and had to give back $200 to the casino playing a bully of a game, buffalo grand. So the total this session is +$605.
Cheers!

Nailing a royal is a nice way to finish up the month.
Dan have you tallied the number of royals that you've hit since you started this thread?

Well, this thread started in late sep 2015. I haven’t counted royals but likely averaged one a month minus about 3 months where I didn’t post or played. So if I had to venture a guess, I’d say around 25. If anyone feels froggy and wants to comb thru it and count, be my guest. I’m too busy hitting jackpots! Lol
Cheers

I just did a quick search and I counted 24, I counted 3 royals for your play of 11/2/17 when it was dealt to you on triple play. So 24 royals since you started your thread on 9/22/15 is very respectable.
