I would have guessed 10,000. You really shot the works.

16,118 to be exact. I was surprised.
Dunno what it will get me but I'll take'm.
Suppose to go back down the end of month. We may have to postpone though.

Great. Very short break even trip yesterday. Jaws of life needed just to attain that at Harrah's after -$100. I was asking for trouble if I stayed after that miracle. 75 TC between there and my shuttle return to Caesars. AC was packed; 7S filled half the damn bus. I really should factor in two hours of flex time for days like this. I got a second wind and wanted to keep gambling and make the trip productive. Russian Roulette: guess the hot machine before the cold one. I am happy to report that I recovered $2 of my $4 Power Ball wager by guessing seven as the power ball on St. Patrick's Day. Sole California winner got gross $456M.

This might be worthy of its own unique (& separate) thread, but....Has anyone been asking or thinking about just how easy, or LESS exceptional/special, it is becoming to reach DIAMOND status in the CET player card system??? I'm serious, with all these new or revamped bonus tier credit schedules and opportunities, with all the various lump sum awards of tier credits that players have been receiving in a variety of forms....reaching that initial point/tier credit threshold of Diamond status is getting easier and easier (nothing I think drives this point home better than the now famous, or "infamous", DIAMOND-IN-A-DAY phenomenon that numerous posters have referenced or actually accomplished !) What's the short & long term implication(s) of this trend? Is this cheapening the status and/or value of Diamond Status and if so, what is to be done about it? I myself believe there will soon (within the next year or two) a revamping or redesign of the CET Player's Card Reward system and schedule.....anyone else think so too?As I've said many times, the general overall quality of product and services at CET hotel/casinos has declined in the last decade, especially since the Great Recession of 2009/2010; and while things have at least stopped deteriorating in the last few months and shown signs of improving, the corporation itself remains saddled with huge debts which requires constant examination of operational costs and ways to reduce them. It is easy to see how something like the Players Club Reward System would be one such area that would receive intense attention on ways to cut costs/overhead.

Anyone above Gold figures to be a substantial loser. I'm over chasing heavy TCs.

CET emailed me to apologize for shorting me 65 TC on the promotion. So I earned 865 TC. A lot of losing.

Yes it gets easier every year to reach diamond status at CET. What Caesars has done in response is to take away or reduce awards, especially for 7 stars.
A good example for diamond players is it now takes 25,000 points to enter diamond lounges free instead of 15,000.
No more Aspirations #1 at 40,000 tier credits, meaning you lose your 4-night stay at any Caesars property with $100 folio credit
No more Aspirations #2 at 80,000 tier credits, meaning you lose your $750 airfare credit and 4-night stay at any Caesars property
For 7 stars
Two of the four Signature Events are now only available to players with 500,000 or more tier credits. Seven Stars members with fewer than 500,000 tier credits can only go to Atlantic City or Las Vegas for their Signature Event.
7 Stars used to get 4 nights at any Caesars property and then if they had 48 hours between visits could do it again and again. That has been eliminated.
So yes it is easier to get to higher tier levels but the benefits have been drastically reduced.
