JOB quads rained down on me in AC today, almost as hard as the actual rain falling. One at Harrah's in seventy hands to salvage my tilt tendencies. Three at Caesars in under 200 hands. I barely broke even after my nominal trip cost anyway. But the day was certainly not lacking in excitement. I usually get killed on Sunday too. It felt somewhat surreal.

A little late to the thread, but I used to play a lot at Bally's prior to the recession. They had full pay Pick'em, dollar 3 line 9/5 Double Jokers and a 9/6 dollar JOB progressive with a good meter. Would go back for those games, but it ain't happening.

The last time I recall a Strip Property having such a great game as 100.7% All American was back in the late 1990s (circa 1998)......as for myself, "Those were the Days" applies to the extended period from 1992 (when 'old' Vegas was in it's waning days) thru 2004, when the building "Boom/Spree" reached it's zenith and the Patriots won their second Super Bowl over Carolina in a game that really was one of the Top 3 Super Bowls ever played, and a game on which I won a crapload of money by essentially betting AGAINST my TEAM (The Pats were favored by an Absurd 7-1/2 points by Game Time at numerous Books, and as much as I loved the Patriots, there was no way I was passing up that Line....I looked at as win-win.....by Betting, say, "1000 bucks" on Carolina, if the Panthers won, even though I'd be devastated because New England lost I'd have a nice consolation prize....and of course if New England Won and I lost my bet, to me it's still very much worth it because my beloved New England chalked up another Lombardi........Of course, I ultimately had the best of Both worlds as New England won the awesome contest by a Field Goal, so my Bet paid off AND The Patriots WON! <Da Burglar sings> "THOSE WERE THE DAYYYYYSSSS!!" <end Singing>

Yes, Perfect play was almost unattainable for us rec players, but the payscale was so good , you were over 100% easy. Had to be more aggressive going for straights and flushes.
