Re: Video Poker Bonus Games YOU'D Like To See
personally I think that joker poker (pot a gold) is best for jackpots and small pays. but hard to build credits....best for going home ahead is ddbp. this is why you do not find very many ddbp machs in Indian casinos....with the indians it is usually go home with a jackpot or go home with nothing...At least that has been my experience since the first poker mach in so cal....and I thin that was at Morongo when it was still against the law in Ca .

Here's an idea for a new game. Qualify a special win whenver a 3 oak exists with the correctly suited card double the value of the one needed for the quad. For example, 1s 1h 1s 2d xx would be a special quad winner (or special 5oak).
Another possibility is to take a value double the quad and have that act as a kicker ... 2s 2d 2h 2c 4(any suit) would be a special win. These would exist for 1-5.
These two ideas could even be combined in a single game.

In general, I would like to see more progressive meters for hands that are under the Royal. I used to play for four of a kind on machines with high progressives for the 4K and SF. It smoothed out some of bankroll fluctuations waiting for that Royal to come through.
I used to play in Vegas and Reno where these machines seemed common. I just don't find them in Atlantic City.

Not quite sure if I wanna play Shamrocks with a weak paytable. I'll stick to DDB and try to eke out a winner. Occasionally, I'll come across a BP machine with a decent paytable but it doesn't have the quads bonuses. Similar to JOB,4OAK pays 125 but quad aces pays 400 compared to other games with 4aces bonus payouts! DB,DDB,WHA etc. etc.

Casino Player magazine for the current issue highlited an interesting V.P. game played in triple play and higher. It combines Wheel Of Fortune wheel which will activate when a four of a kind is hit. You must play an extra coin on each game to activate the wheel. What I like about the game, if I read the article right, is that the wheel payoff is seperate from the 4 of a kind hit(s) which will help with w2-g's not being generated as much. Need more input here. Will watch for it!!!---CWA---

the artice may have appeared in Strictly Slots magazine rather than Casino Player. I do remember that the article was by Bob Dancer who went on to explain some other new V.P. games that were highlited in the G2 show. If you can't find it in either mag, e-mail him to find out for sure.---CWA---
