The Ultimate Stereotype
I don't think I will ever top this one. The other night while playing in the middle of the night at Mohegan Sun here comes a couple of players who just had that look all over them. Yep, they plopped down just 3 seats from me. Fat, older, bald, men....not that I don't fit two and a half the three words myself. Ok, they sat down started playing...so far so good. Uh Oh...here comes the cigars as long and fat as a chopped down broomstick. Both lit up of course. Next....with several ladies within earshot here comes the profanity...various combinations of the F word every third word or so...and finally...one of them gets on a business call on his cell phone and talks at the top of his lungs for twenty minutes also with every few words being the F word...On top of everything...all done with some sort of foreign accent. After mis playing a few hands and the few employees that remained failing to do anything about them, I just cashed out and hit the hay for the evening. Had to leave my jacket and shirt in the trunk of my car they stunk of cigar smoke so badly. Luckily, I had spares.

Wow that stinks olds literally and figuratively! I'm sorry you're session was ruined. I've posted t elsewhere....cocaine, methamphetamine, and of course the deadly opiods in this country are considered death dealing substances that are totally illegal. It's beyond me why tobacco, n this day and age with all we know about it and the tens of millions who have died due to its effect is still as legal as ice cream (although as expensive as steak). If we were sane we'd either remove tobacco completely, or flip it around and legalize hard drugs and regulate and tax them to pay for the treatment of addicts who want treatment.

A bit off the topic thread, but I am currently writing a Scifi novel. It may take me a year or so to finish, but before I go to the trouble of seeking a publisher, if there is any interest out there at all, I could send a chapter to any who would like to read it. I wrote 2. One at age ten and one at age 12. My friends enjoyed them but I never took it further. Now everything in those books has come true already.
PS...In the first two books of course video poker didn't exist back in 1958, but I did have some interaction with the characters and playing cards here and there.
