Re: Are These Games Rigged?
Wow. Someone in AC please head over there to verify/refute this... if it happens that often, then just hold 4 cards a bunch of times and film the draws with your phone. If it is that easy to replicate you obviously have no idea the significance.

Phil, I'm sorry you had such a rotten time in AC, and I'm also very sorry I didn't get to meet up with you...my schedule and priorities just didn't align with the timing of your visit... hopefully there will be another shot to meet, I would be very glad to meet and talk with you;. While I don't agree 100% with some things you post, I do agree with some, and I respect your opinions.
What you state about ac being a dump, having lousy smelly decrepit machines is sadly true for some of the properties there, especially the ones who still use older, non server games like borgota and Golden nugget, and to a lesser extent Resorts and Tropicana. The CET casinos are server based and more "new" and thus the games are in somewhat better condition. Harrah's isn't as smelly in terms of smoke but they do have periodic plumbing issues that make parts of the property smell like poop.
I have stated numerous times my main motivation for going to AC in the past revolved around handicap accessible and the ease for me to get there from home, and move around when I got there. I like ACs boardwalk (used to anyway)....but in the last two plus years I have curtailed my visits and activity there Drastically...I now visit only three, maybe four times a year and that is going to soon be reduced further...
You're correct, there really are far better places to gamble...this is the true, primary reason that, the recent modest "comeback" not withstanding with hardrock set to open, AC has lost over half it's revenue in less than a decade. They just don't get that they stink compared to other destinations...or they don't care, I haven't been able to nail that part down yet

I'm thinking a Class Action Lawsuit could start right here now that we have two believers. I'll post a signup sheet in the hall. Anyone know some hungry Lawyers?

That's the thing... you are talking about a casino putting their entire business on the line over something that is completely obvious. Not to mention completely unnecessary as you've already noted the poor pay tables that allow healthy casino profits on their own. But I'm trying to keep an open mind about it. Anyone believing this would be foolish not to go get a video of it. It will apparently take less than an hour of work.

Think how much the casino would pay for such a video.

Has there been any witnesses to this phenomenon occurring in other casinos? This may be nationwide. Or even global.

If I ever go there, I would tape it. Not like I give a crap they would kick me out for taping in Borgata since I definitely have no plans to go there regularly. And they probably wouldn't even do that, just yell at me instead.
This could have been so easily shown by video if it happened regularly. But no video, I have no reason to believe it.

Right. This claim if true just makes Borgata and its patrons look dumb. If you are gonna cheat, you should cheat smarter than that.

We visited Harrah's and Caesar's. The odds were so bad we didn't play.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------JOB and BP are exactly the same as Borgata. And I have never encountered the wacky card retention that we have both witnessed as Borgata. I saw what I saw too, and I was basically disillusioned. Good to have found a fellow traveler. You may call us both punch drunk players. But ad hominem attacks will not change our experiences.

Someone in AC please head over there to verify/refute this... if it happens that often.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Often enough to notice. I feel confident in backing them up on this. I had some bizarre card retention on my draws there as well. It wasn't my imagination.
