Wow!

I regret not holding all 5. A malfunction would have been awful.
This happened last night.

Wow is Right!!! And yes, you should have held all 5 cards in this situation. You couldn't improve on the hand so why risk ANY chance of malfunction, especially on one that paid $12,500.00?
Congrats on the Very nice jackpot.

I’ve really started to like hot roll. The multipliers always seem to be at least 6x.
I’m curious though, why do people say you increase the chance of a
malfunction by not holding them all? Having never seen a malfunction I’m
not sure what circumstances they occur.
I guess you haven't played in AC? Hold buttons are notorious for not holding or holding when you don't want them to. Ask someone who has lost a big jackpot that way and they will tell you the casino will not cover a loss due to a machine malfunction. Some machines even state as much on the front.

Great one!

I had a malfunction a number of years ago that cost me a DDB straight flush. The powers that be basically said tough luck. Have't gone back to that casino since.

But how does holding all 5 cards PREVENT a malfunction? Are we worried a dulipcate card coming out to void the hand? It's a piece of advice that's never been backed up by hard proof.
If you want to hold all 5 cards to avoid holding an incorrect one in this case, then that's fine. However, if you're playing DDB, Super DDB, TDB, TTB, etc., you better not hold the 5th card on a premium quad! Saw some clueless lady hold 33336 on a Super DDB game last Vegas trip. Someone probably told her that "malfunction" thing too...

It's nice to feel lucky. It mimics a real dice roll. Snake eyes comes out 1 in 36 rolls on average just like box cars.
Do you remember when the dice were actually tossed? How many Queens did you have on the screen when it rolled?
Congrats!
