Well it was just DB and me yesterday at HH. Hopefully in the future some AC regulars will meet up with us. Is that all you are going to share with the crowd here regarding what has been happening in AC in general, and specifically the CET properties in particular, with respect the completely diminishing comps and features of membership.....and of course, the outrageously bad OVERALL play results we continue to see "citywide" (your female friend's word. who works as a slot tech at Harrahs)...?!?!?! You need to just get the ball rolling at least, because if I just launch into this latest, yet another report on how awful AC video poker is I'm going to get the Florida Phil treatment and nothing will come of the very REAL situation that exists in AC and us trying to report on it. You carry more respect and weight amongst the resident know-it-alls and consistent "winners" who post here, who ALWAYS dismiss any reports of things being even slightly "off" or out of whack in VP game performance......you reporting on what we've seen will mean so much more, and then I'll add copious details and other stuff. Your brief but intense "Quad winning streak" at the end only adds credibility to your standing and accuracy. My results are just so horrible, again no one will truly believe them.....

According to Jeter, who knows harrahs-AC far far more intricately than I do, there is a period between 5:30-ish and 7pm (I guess every day) whereby the normally abysmal performance of Video Poker in Harrahs-AC is replaced by a more normalized version of VP results which allows the luckier or more experienced players to win just as they would if the VP were ALWAYS normalized, perhaps even win a little more to make up for all the other 23 hours of the day when harrahs consumes bankrolls like your average American Casino visitor consumes buffets......VORACIOUSLY.I myself haven't seen it with my own personal results, but of course that doesn't mean there is not something to it, because what myself and Jeter HAVE been saying applies ESPECIALLY if there really is a "witching hour", namely that Harrahs (and the other CET properties who are on their server) actively control and manipulate via the server the overall payout and performance of the VP to suit their monthly and quarterly cash flow needs and situation.....I've stated this numerous times already, servers allow the casino untold advantages and abilities they never previously had in the decades prior in the gambling business. Furthermore, the drastic deregulation and scaling back of oversight amongst AC gaming makes it easier for a casino to manage and manipulate their day to day results without drawing any attention or trouble. And besides, I've also asked (and never ever received even an attempt to discuss or refute) the question: Assuming we're right and certain AC casinos have been messing with the results of their games for the last decade or so, WHAT if anything could or would be done about it? Also, assuming AC gaming regulators did find evidence of wrongful behavior, and wanted to do something about it, how could they do so without bringing down the whole city (or possibly impacting the ENTIRE industry)?? My point, as you must be able to see, is that, IF....IF the ac gaming regulators did do something to fix the situation, the general public probably would never hear about it due to the need to keep it quiet. There are no employees walking around with knowledge of this because (1) anyone who would know about manipulating the servers would be extremely few in number and no doubt be highly paid, almost clandestine type employees who would sign ironclad non-disclosure agreements that, even if theoretically invalidated by "criminal behavior" (which must be PROVEN first in a court of law) they would be threatened with year and years of legal wrangling that the casinos would clobber them with.....(2) Within ANY casino anywhere, the different departments within each casino often do not fraternize or know each other outside of the actual work environment.....thus it is impossible for a person in customer service or relations to know what goes on with the information technology section. Same with Casino operations knowing anyone anywhere within IT or security, etc. You can obviously see how this applies here. That all being said, AC games are either ice ice baby cold (I'd say 70-80% of the time), or fairly Hot (but rarely scorching.....20% of the time). If you are lucky to be there during the 20%, bully for you......if you are there during the cold period, you can STILL hit a large jackpot but it will be much more rare and will be preceded by and then followed by MORE ice coldness in which you'll probably give back most of the winnings unless you have the wherewithal to just quit.
