Hi: Had to share my shock and awe as my wife and I finished off a one night stay this past Sat, 6/16 at the new/3 year old Harrah's River Valley in Murphy, NC (2nd property open 3 years + Cherokee since 80s). We both had a decent night in the casino Saturday, and were checked out and ready to return to Atlanta, but lingered "15-20 minutes" for me to play a little VP---in particular Deuces Wild with a pay table so awful my mind won't allow me to remember its details...Shoved $50 in the machine playing one hand $.50/5 coin max. Ten minutes into and about even, I turned two Deuces into four, and cashed out. Ticket reads 10:35 am. Found wife to preen and cash ticket. Decided I wanted to play my original 15-20 minutes. The second ticket reads 10:50 after drawing another 4 Deuce! They couldn't have been more than 10 hands apart. Stupid lucky but I'll take it. Yes, the pay table is hideous, but that hand still pays 1000 coin.

Congratulations!  I play in Murphy once in a while.  It's close to our summer home in Big Canoe.  Murphy definitely has the worst VP odds on the planet.   Interestingly enough, I have hit two royals in Murphy.   Go figure....
