Welcome to the forums, Misterpreston!
I played $60 through a 100 play machine last night (5/11). I had lost down to about $8 before it started dealing 3 of a kinds on the initial hand with the resulting quads. I finished $50 up but lost twice that on a Miss Kitty tower game (slot machine) with my wife.
I like the 50 play and 100 play games as it slows me down a bit. It also helps to see first hand the odds/randomness of starting hands and the end results.

I have had the best luck in OK casinos with Jacks or Better. The odds aren't great in Indian run casinos but better than slots.

The odds don't change, the pay tables change. You have the same chance to get a full house on a 10/6 game as you do on a 7/5 game. You get the same winning hands on either machine.

Not if you're playing correctly.Assuming you're talking about DDB, on a hand like Kh Th 7h 4c 2d, the correct play in the 10/6 game is KT. The correct play in the 7/5 game is K by itself. Different play affect the odds of getting a full house.Since we were originally talking about Hundred Play, the Expected Value (i.e. 99.54% or 97.23% or whatever) are the same on Hundred Play as on a single line Game King version. The variance is significantly different. Why does it matter? Variance affects the bankroll you need to play a particular game. The multi-line games (for the same total bet) lowers the variance for both the player and the house. Compare dollar single line with penny Hundred Play. Both take $5 to play. But whatever s take you started with will last MUCH longer on the Hundred Play version. This presumes the same pay schedule (which is only true at a few places).

Thanks Bob,
My preferred play is 50/100 play since our casino offers 98-99% return even down to 1¢ denomination play. My normal play is 50 thru 100 hand play at the 5¢ denomination depending on my timing and bank roll.

A 9-6 JOB machine and a 7-5 JOB offer the same odds, but different payouts.

100 play is my favorite
