Name of the possible new dynamic fun property: "Crazytown"

Most likely will be located in the old Atlantic Club/Hilton building.... This will mark the return of Trump Gaming to the market it once nearly killed, and will coincide with the president's departure from office after the election in November, 2020 when the American people wake up and remove the narcissistic idiot from the position that he never really wanted to begin with.... I doubt though if General John Kelly, decorated American Military hero and current white house Chief of staff (i.e. Circus director and author of the description "Crazytown" for the Trump White House) will be joining him...when someone as dignified and collected as General Kelly feels compelled to divulge working for Trump is "the worst job ever", it kinda removes any ambiguity.

Folks, I'm totally serious...."Crazy Town" would actually be an awesome name for a casino in AC (or most any Large Casino Market)!!

Depressing. I set foot in two casinos on Mon; quad in each. Ironically, I also enjoyed some Buddhist serenity at Buddakan's happy hour. Pier elevator deposited me right back in mid boardwalk Crazytown, Caesars second floor. Lucky enough to pick up a few bucks there before splitting.

Not that it really has anything to do with the start of this thread, but rumor has it that Stockton University is looking to purchase the Hilton and use it for dorms, labs etc. They just moved students in to the new dorms and classrooms at the base of Albany av near the Knife and Fork. Apparently their enrollment has increased significantly and they want a permanent footprint in AC. Rowan in Glassboro NJ is also expanding like crazy. Interesting that 2 NJ state colleges in South Jersey have expanded significantly in the last 10 years and become pretty big universities. Think a lot of parents see the value of in state tuition and like the new programs. Rowan has an Engineering and Business school now that have taken off. Years ago when I was in engineering school at NCE in Newark, we had a ton of South Jersey kids, but now they have Rowan. I see some positive signs for AC, but the coming winter will tell the story. BTW, this NY Times piece is meaningless and may not even have an author in the Trump Administration. First Michael Wolff, then Amorosa, then Woodward with their books. Nothing is working for the resistance.

What are they resisting? Record low unemployment and welfare-food stamp cheaters, record high # of employed Americans, millions of new jobs, higher tax revenues due to robust economy, strength in negotiating fair trade agreements? This list could go on with many other examples!! I ask again, what are they resisting? Good luck with that come election time. The American people are not stupid!!

i remember predictions made a couple of years ago; clinton wins the white house, dems take the senate and dems put in the next justice. wrong! wrong! and double wrong!

while obama won twice, the dems lost over 1000 state and local posts during his term. i'll predict that does not happen under trump.

does anyone really think the country is going to vote for open borders, abolish/prosecute ICE, free healthcare for illegals, eliminate tax cuts, pity for ms-13 gang members, usa taxpayers subsidizing european nato members who will not pay their agreed upon financial commitment, onerous rules/regs that hinder business/waste money and reduce productivity/cost jobs, free college and free healthcare for all, replace capitalism with socialism...just to name some of ideas favored by liberals.

Bill, i owe you $100 if the Dems retake the House. I haven't forgot. I think it is still up in the air. Some recent polls only have the Dems up 2-4% in the generic ballot. I think a lot of these House races are going to be more localized than people think. As far as the dumdass Cory Booker goes, I have news for him, he is not going to be president and will not get the Democrat nomination. This guy is the definition of an empty suit. When he was mayor of Newark, he showed some promise and was very fairminded. Then he chickened out of running for Governor against Christie when he was running for a second term because he knew there was an easy Senate seat waiting for him. Now he is auditioning for 2020. Very sad to see this, I liked him once. Across the river, Andrew Cuomo is running scared and trying to get to the left of Cynthia Nixon. The primary is next week in New York and will be closer than people think.

I think I can sum up the "resistance" (the legitimate resistance, not the hysterical Democratic supporters of aborting Human Beings and for giving "rights" to people of a gender or sexual orientation that is not entitled to such things)....first off, I once again reiterate my disdain and contempt for most liberals and their agenda(s). Secondly I am not "down" with either party or side or persuasion....I still ultimately believe foremost that the only solution(s) to societies' many many intractable problems lies with the Kingdom of God under his Son Jesus. Most liberals/Dems hate me because of my religion and most so-called "conservatives"/Repubs resent the fact that I regularly point out the hypocrisy and lack of logic in the claims the Right uses to promote their belief in the Bible when they simultaneously support so many Un-Christian things (not the least of which is the immoral, adulterous, dishonest, ignorant pseudo atheist currently in the white house.)

The problem with Trump is the Man himself, not necessarily his policies (the ones that are legit anyway or actually in force) nor the current state of the economy or the world. Despite blanket assertions to the contrary, the current economic "boon" is not entirely his doing and in fact both his Tax policy (if you can call it that) and his Trade Policy will soon begin to exert negative forces that far far outweigh any shortsighted benefit. Trump's Tax cut (which really is just the most extreme version of what the Republican Congress has wanted since 2011) is absurd.....the DEBT (and the DEFICIT) are now completely beyond reason and someone somewhere MUST start paying down SOME of the actual principle. But given Trump's lifelong penchant for simply filing bankruptcy anytime he accumulated debt (four times officially with a possible additional three instances where he threatened to do so unless the astronomical principle(s) were reduced) that creditors demanded he repay. I have never ever heard a satisfactory response from ANY republican anywhere on any of this (the ballooning debt, repayment obligations etc). Likewise this "Trade War" will soon, if not already become untenable....Trade wars are NOT "easy", are not "Good" for the overall economy (they benefit very few and hurt very many).

Does anyone dispute that as a individual human being, Trump is a real obnoxious mean narcissist? Of course you don't.....hence I submit that THIS component is why it appears so many people cannot stand him....how can this actually be a surprise?

Re: Mueller and his so called witch Hunt. Trump has done nothing to actually assert his guiltlessness, and in fact his petulant incessant absurd rants only serve to mak ehim appear GUILTY (none other than Trey Gowdy made this point early in the year!) Robert Mueller is a lifelong Republican....he is a decorated Combat Veteran, a real "Leader" who enjoys the highest integrity from people on BOTH sides of the political fence. There is absolutely NO ONE more qualified to navigate the BULL-ONEY that swirls around this case, no one more qualified than Mueller to avoid ANY so called BIAS or attempts at Bias in the entire investigation. He will find the truth, so long as he is allowed to do so....I firmly believe it is in fact his careful, honest methodology that is the reason why the whole inquiry has taken this long....he wants to make sure EVERY THING is checked and done correctly, so that NEITHER side (Trump's fanatics nor the hateful immoral Democrats/"Resistance") has any real legit gripes that the fnal outcome is not the correct one!

One final thing.....almost all Trump Supporters, being so-called "conservative" Republicans, really seem able to tune out the fact(s) that Trump is the biggest example of Rich Privilege blatantly flaunting its will at the public....How is it that even Uber-wealthy past presidents like Thoedore Roosevelt, JFK, George H.W. Bush were able to serve their country FOR REAL, in REAL combat, and refused to allow "Daddy" to get them out of it, while Trump deferred FOUR TIMES, and then when he could no longer find a legit excuse, paid a doctor to conjure up a malady so pathetic it's embarrassing? And why couldnt he at least have served in a NON-Combat role? The man has ZERO Character, and THAT is why so many people the world over cannot stand him, especially since he NOW invokes, from the safety of the world's most secure Bunkers & Airplanes (etc) a ridiculous "Pro-Military" culture in which he does NOTHING to tone down warlike rhetoric when it suits him....he'll never be in danger as he scarfs Big Macs and Diet Cokes while he orders strikes against Iran or N.Korea. And when he finally has that massive coronary from eating all the crap food he does, you and I can pay for his bypass.
