Why that is a very good question Eduardo. A player doesn't want to be too flashy as this could attract the wrong type of date so in this case the good old .25 denomination would be your best bet.

A player would appear to be a cheapskate if they were to play at the .05 or .10 denomination, unless of course a multi-hand game were being played. In this situation a player could easily be pumping in upwards of $10.00 a hand without blinking an eye.

If two people were to engage in a relationship then I would see no harm in moving down from .25 denomination because someone may be saving for a ring of some sort for popping a big question.

I would have to agree with Ted. The quickest way to get panhandled or approached by a hooker however, is to leave a big credit balance in your machine while still playing especially if you are playing dollars.

It may be my age, but it seems the women I meet playing VP don't have relationships on their mind. Do girls go to the casino to meet guys? It seems older women gamblers come in two versions. One type that only wants to gamble and the other type that only wants to talk and talk and talk.... They seem serious in either case. I also think it's because mature women are nervous about dating a guy that hangs out in a casino. If I was looking for a date, the casino would be the last place I would want to hook up unless it was just for one night.

I have to Agree for the most part with Omt. This scenario would be almost the same. In 1969 at uconn i was in charge of social programs for our frat. We invited another girls dorm to a mixer we were running. 3 party animal smoking and hard drinking young ladies dragged their non smoker conservative roomate who also happened to be beautiful to the mixer. She was just what i was looking for and 47 years later i can say i and hopefully her made the right connection and choice. You just never know when or where that special person is going to come into your life.
