Great question.
Everyone plays video poker for different reasons. You evidently have chosen to play to win.
While admirable, we must recognize that not everyone plays to win.
We should celebrate the games winners while realizing the non winning players are also valued, and attaching labels like winner of loser is exclusive rather than being inclusive.

When I first arrived to the casino I went to my favorite bank of machines, only to find that my favorite of the 4 was being played. The gentleman was playing 3 hand single coin and yes, he did hit a diamond royal. He then upped his play to 4 coins. The money he won from the royal shriveled and he soon left. In the meantime I was playing the machine next to him and I was holding my own on ACJP, hitting a couple 500 coin straight flushes. Once he departed I then slid over to the now vacant machine and proceeded to hit those in the pictures. I also hit several more straight flushes in ACJP and I was dealt 4 to the heart royal twice in TDB but failed to connect on any of them.

Yes, I play video poker to win.

Congratulations. Sucker sure warmed up your favorite machine. His returned profits, your feast. When I hit a min RF, I left ASAP. Even chump change FH, machines usually take it right back. Leave with a small profit and dignity instead.
