MGM-Springfield results so far

As most of you know, the nearly 1 Billion Dollar MGM Hotel-Casino in Springfield, Massachusetts opened at the End of August, specifically 08/24/2018. It's first FULL month's reported revenue for September 2018 was 27 million bucks.....however, October's (2018) revenue was just reported as being DOWN almost 5 million dollars less, at 22 million!

Sept/2018 $27 MM

Oct/2018 $22 MM

Wow, that is a surprise. I heard the limits are pretty high on table games. Also no buffet and a rather small hotel.

Still I would think their revenue will increase. We will see.

A 20% drop off after a grand opening isn't terribly surprising.

But I would probably be disappointed if my brand new Massachusetts casino only can gross the same amount as the top grossing Missouri riverboat that's been around for over 20 years that has 5 competitors in a 45 minute radius.
