"Multi-denom" machines are the way to go. I'm never tempted to crank it beyond.50. But in the fixed denomination casino, my frustration with losing leads to moving and even faster losing.
They very well may be the way to go for you, but in another thread started elsewhere here by you may I offer: CHECK EVERYTHING?

Right. No contradiction. If I do check thoroughly, I'm even more certain to stay small. Recalibrate and relax.

Wish i could beam you guys some over. Just ten minutes away I have a choice of pepe’s, sally’s or Modern, three of the best in the world. All are located in New Haven. Mohegan Sun has a pepe’s there too, but it is a notch off from the original place. At least they have Peroni Italian brew on tap my favorite. I don’t think vman would love it though it is light and a bit bitter. Anyway if anyone in the gang want to meet at Mohegan for pizza and beer one evening, its my treat

AC is AOK. I hit quad deuces today at Caesars on dollar play, breaking two resolutions at once. Not DW, but at least not JOB either. BP, $120.

Re: Peroni I'm pretty sure my college roommate gave me one to try. And i'm pretty sure you're right, it wasn't my thing. Almost every beer I have drank from a green bottle is not my thing. Lol

Hang in there. You are just a meeting away. Remember- you never walk alone.
