If I get all the royal flushes for now until March, I'll leave one for you at the desk.

Okay, bye everyone... I'm going to stop playing the games here for today and focus on VPW to perfect my strategies for the trip. Well, I'll take one more shot at getting positive on monoline, THEN I'll go play VPW.

Good luck Eduardo,
Sounds like you are prepared for this trip.  Thats about as good as you can do.  The rest is up to the Video Poker Gods.  You are smart to limit yourself to one area of Vegas.  I spent many of my early trips running around like chicken with my head cut off.  It really sucks when you go to the trouble of planning a trip and realize when you are leaving the ground on your return flight that you wasted lots of your time needlessly.
Go out and hit a royal!!

Well, less than 24 hours to game time!

I have been freshening up on a little bit of deuces but I think I have that game down by now. A brand new game (to me) I've been practicing is Bonus Deluxe because the Hilton has a decent pay table for that (99.6%) . It's not a bad game... 400 for all quads so it's more satisfying than JOB but doesn't have terrible variance like DDB either. The strategy seems really easy compared to some other games I've tried. I think I will try to stay away from DDB unless I happen across a great pay table and am ahead.

I've upped my budget to $750 for this trip.  I'm considering starting my first $100 in the same way as last time to see if I can jump ahead out of the gate, and I'll still have $650 if that doesn't work, which will last me a lot longer than last trip since I won't be rushed.

I'm really looking forward to the tournament because I have no idea what to expect. That will be something new and exciting. I'll practice on VPW in my room right before since the strategy is so different and I want to be as fast as possible.

I'll do my best to check in here but will probably save the full trip report until I get home.

If anyone here is going to be in Vegas over the next few days and you want to meet up, send me a private message!
