Split Card always really slow

Is there a reason why Split Card is always soooooooooo slooooooooooooow. I have not noticed this on any other variation of the games on this site. That game is one of my favorites and is sadly hard to find in casinos but I almost never play it here because every hand comes out super slow. There is no way to speed it up?
