Re: RNG Questions

I believe streaks are the nature of randomness, especially in wild card games. The question is, "Can you capitalize on them?" My answer is, not reliably. Everything works until it doesn't.

Agreed, but it is nice when you can really nail them in that very short window. It would make sense that is just the nature of randomness. Ever walk by a roulette wheel and see the numbers posted that have recently come out? You may see like 8 reds, then one black, then 4 more reds, then 0 then00, then red black alternating 7 or 8 times and on and on. The longest roulette streak I ever saw was at the old playboy casino in A/C. 14 consecutive reds. Unfortunately, I was on the wrong end of it betting black.

Thats for sure. I would have been out after 5 consecutive reds. That’s why nowdays I slow things down so a hit gives a nice chunk back but not all of it. Even so it is easy to go thru 500 or even a grand pn a bad cold cycle. The home runs are nice though.

4 of a kinds might come 3 times in 50 hands and then they might not come for another 1000 hands. That is randomness. So yes they are often bunched up just like often they are not. These are not cycles but how anything can happen and will. Over time they will average back to the correct %.

If say 4 of a kinds should come every 400 hands and they did.....it would be an easy game to beat.

And this is pretty much the core to my argument every time someone says that the RNG is askew (re. rigged). I ask them if they still think the RNG is rigged when they get an abundance of 4 of a kinds or other premium hands.

It is entirely possible to hit an abundance of royals as well. I've had years like that. If you happen to be playing big that year, you can talk yourself into believing you have this game all figured out. The RNG has a way of correcting those thoughts.

Nah not rigged when quads pile on, obviously. ;)
