Notes, did you read what I wrote? I wrote:
"None of us, not me and not TedLark, are foolish enough to believe we can beat the casino over time with the paytables we are stuck with."

chicago, i DID read your original post.
-you said a big deal was being made out of one players results
-you said he plays a lot, i NEVER said that and neither has he
-you said you had a nice streak LAST year
-you said neither you nor ted believed you could beat the casinos over time with the paytables you have available. again, you said that, i never heard him say that.
well,we have a player declaring a 7 year history where he was positive for those 7 years. that is NOT a 1 year nice streak. what you and ted believe is irrelevant, he says he ACTUALLY did beat the casinos with crappy paytables, over time. that is noteworthy and worth asking about. i have never questioned any player about a 1, 2 3 year result history, but a winning streak that last 7 years or more.....
and now, we have 2 players with access to the best paytables available, including mr. dancer, who state, they did not take out more coin than put in.
ted never gave any details about how he came out ahead. i just presumed that he was net positive from playing vp, free play results and any cash won from raffles/drawings. if he had won a couple of mercedes, i guess i thought he would mention that.
he has made numerous posts on this thread and while i may be misquoting him, he attributes his winning to honing his skills, cash management discipline and being lucky.

And what I wrote is strictly my own analysis of TedLark's play and results. I can't get inside his head. But I know how VP players are. It is only human nature to brag about your big jackpots or the big bass or your son's A grade in algebra. No one comes onto this board to brag about their losing sessions or about how their son failed English six years in a row. TedLark is human and so it is only to be expected that he wants to project success. Why is that a crime? This is an informal posting board, really, a coffee klatch. We're not taking depositions here for a Supreme Court hearing, ya know...… I know the reality of math, you know it, and TedLark knows it. Lighten up, my friend.

I remember Ted posting a big loss on a trip to CA awhile back. Something like 2k plus. So I don't see him bragging much here. Posting nice hits is always a nice sight.
Plus a down trip to New Bufflo mi.
Ted knows what he's doing. We all know about getting beat up from time to time.

As Ray Liotta said in Goodfellas, everyone has to take a beating now and then. Last 2 multi strike sessions at Borgata I am down $1,400. Brings me back to even for the year. This is a pattern that has repeated itself the last few years. I hit some royals and nice streaks early, get up a few thousand and eventually give it back and finish the year a little negative. Still have the rest of 2019, so maybe things will change.
