Not really. You'll hold a suited QJ, for example, and in addition to the royal, there are two different straight flushes you can get.

On the other hand, you shouldn't hold a suited 34 (in most games). that makes the 2-6 straight flush occur less frequently than the K-9 straight flush.

also, on a wheel (i.e. A-5 suited), all ace-low draws are double inside. for all other straight flushes, at least some of the two-card draws are either single inside or with no insides. The more insides, there fewer opportunities to fill it in.

Yeah a royal is easier to hit than a SF of a given rank.

If the odds were all equal, then it would be a 9 to 1 ratio for SF vs. royals. But since you hold two suited high cards or 3 to a royal over a low pair. The royal chances go up.
