I agree. They should also not be distracted from the fact that the man in the white house is a despicable human being who should be replaced with someone endorsing similar policies. The only things that man cares about are money, women, and Donald Trump. That isn't based on a liberal portrayal of him, it is based on how he has portrayed himself his entire life. The fact that he does things you like (which he does only to bring pleasure to himself through people's adoration) is no excuse. His presence in the white house invalidates any republican claim to a moral high ground. There are plenty of conservatives out there who could champion these policies without being the grandest embarrassment our nation has ever known.

you obviously dislike trump. do you really think that all his supporters are in favor of all his tweets, his self absorbed/nyc/loud mouth persona? what we support are his policies, which he has largely attempted to keep and fight for.

look who the other team put up in 2016, a damn criminal. if there was one-tenth of the effort to investigate the clinton cartel as there was to investigate trump, can you imagine what they would find? and, look who are on their list now...a guy who cannot remember what day it is and bunch of socialists. as long as they win, get power back, they do not care.

grow up, politics is hardball, and there are few who can withstand the scrutiny and the hardball tactics employed by both sides. for a republican to win, not only do they have to survive the withering attacks from the dems, but they are up against the media minions and their propaganda and fake news. i cannot think of any other person who could have put up with the non stop hammering that trump has taken, most would have crumbled. but, he keeps fighting for positions that i am in favor of, despite these unrelenting attacks.

so, you are very good at pointing out what you are not in favor of, how about proposing an alternative. name one, just one candidate that will fight for the issues that we support, can handle the attacks, has the squeaky clean past you desire, can get 60-70 million votes, can fund his/her own campaign or get donors to hand over hundreds of millions, can win the battleground states and has that presidential personality you want.

so, before you climb back on that high horse of yours, tell us an alternative, accept the dem selection or hold your nose and pull the lever for the incumbent. the trump haters, the never trumpers are doing nothing but guaranteeing a socialist potus.

you find a really good physician or a great mechanic or a repair person you really trust, or maybe a financial adviser that makes you money. they are each boastful, have multiple divorces, generally have a personality you don't like. but, they do the job they promised and they essentially work for free. doesn't get any press, but trump donates all his pay to charity.

screw the personality, i'll take the one who gets the job done.

Trump on a personal level is certainly an unlikable person, but I am a results oriented person and his agenda is working, so I will vote for him again. However, I think it would be smart to replace Pence on the ticket with Nikki Haley and hope she gets the nomination in 2024.

I'm pretty sure Nikki Haley has no interest in ever working for Mr Trump again, like so many who have been in high level positions under him. Why? Because she is intelligent.

His propensity to just say things which then turn into policy after reverberating through the twitterverse is no way to form policy.

You may like the results so far, but they are far from calculated.

Nikki Haley would make a far better president. Or boss. Or (insert literally any title here).

Speaking of results, how is that mexico-funded wall coming along? (Pretty much his most-repeated promise throughout his entire campaign)
