Be careful. Easy to practice on this site, wizard, etc. The reason I like to play this way is there are so few good hits in a session. Worst case scenario is to lose all day, get a nice hit which in your case could be a quad, and not be even or even close. Also important to have an upper bankroll limit. There is always another day. Some days are quadless on job, quad deucesless, 5 aces-less on my game and of course almost always Royalless. I never count on a Roual for bailout. If I did, what little hair I have left would be gone too. They are nice when they hit. In my case, they seem to hit when we have unexpected expenses at home so that is always nice.

The lose all day and late Sunday quads made the day trip tolerable. I am planning one $10 pot shot a trip. Size up a playable machine over a half hour and just commit. Then roll way back to $2 a hand.

What do you mean by that? Could you explain what criteria you use to size up a machine, other than available games and pay tables?

It worked out ok. I don’t want to give the recent windfall back. I don’t know if anybody cares, but here is the Martingale Clone schedule I’m using for Bonus Deuces Wild. It is played on the 800 for bet one spin poker machine playing two lines. I like to be able to double my chances of getting something and at the same time not have the bets get too too high. Bankroll is 1,000 bucks. Anytime I am 20 bucks or more ahead, I cash out and start over
