Congratulations. You’re more courageous than me, in both game and denomination. No risk it no biscuit.

The only reason I was willing to risk it was because I had a 2000 hit an HR earlier. My heart was definitely racing I'll be honest but at some point I had to try it I guess and this was as good a time as any

Tired of the quarter play hits. The three coin dealt RF fiasco was the crowning failure. I’m fed up with my own cowering fear.

Remember the song though Stayin alive. I just gave back 3,000 the other night. Just made the clone progression too steep too fast. I was supposed to not increase my bet until I lost what 5 Aces would pay or 80 for one. I pushed it to upping the bets on a dollar game after losing just ten hands and then upping it again when another ten hands were lost etc. Before I knew it I was betting 30 bucks a hand. The 5 Aces, 4 deuces, or Royal never showed even after playing ten hours. Had I stuck to the rules, I would have lost at most 500 bucks. Still bad, but something I could recover from.

Given your prior hits, -$3,000 is indeed recoverable. But an astounding -$3,000 trip is a show stopper for most of us. But in general, I get your thinking. Go up at -$80. For me, this rule of thumb should be -$62, what a ten coin quad would pay. Either go up or end down. A small premium hand hit is but a minor consolation. In fact, it’s salt in the wound.
