Trip to the Taj

Left Saturday morning for Atlantic City from Brooklyn. Got there in record time-2 hrs! Checked in and hit the STP machines. I have a love hate relationship with them-my husband just loves them! Played all day and never got a good hand with the multiplier. NOTHING! Not many 4OAK's and no premium ones (ddb) Played some joker poker but couldnt get any kind of run going. Kept watching the woman next to me playing the progressive 3 play AC JW progressive machine($53000). She had no idea of the correct plays. 9 out of 10 hands she just threw in her cards.  Went up for lunch early as we were getting killed-had roomservice and watched I Know Who Killed Me with Lindsay Lohan. She was ok in it but the story stunk. Had a nice meal and went back down. LOST! Went up to the room for the night at 7PM. SOOOOO EARLY! Watched Micheal Clayton-great movie. Sunday morning we took out money we really shouldnt have. Back to the STP and they stunk. Moved to 2 other ones. Mine stunk. So I moved on the other side of my husband and played 3 play White Hot Aces. I really enjoyed that machine. The lack of that 6th coin per line really makes you last longer. I hit 4 2's, 3's, and 4's about 2X each and got Aces 2x I had an inordinant amount of 3 to the royal draws that ended 1 card short! Also a draw to 4 cards that yielded zilch. GRRRRRRRRRR Finally we said OK the last hundred-we had recouped some of our losses-and I got A-K-Q-10 diamonds. OK here goes-and yes!!!-J Diamonds! So we left losing but not by much! OH so the woman that didnt know the AC JW strategy got dealt 5 8's for $3000! I also saw a man at the STP That stunk for me get dealt 4 Aces on 10 play with a 2 multiplier. Couldnt see how many kickers he draw but it was a handpay. STP love em or leave em I say!
