So after I took a beating at real casinos for quite sum of money , I been taking break from it and practicing on this site everyday for 1000 hands a day.

So my question is when am I ready to hit the real casinos to play for real money ? I’m playing wirh regular RNG setting ( play every hand ) , and improving everyday , when I’m about only 10 incorrect hands and less than $20 error cost after 1000 hands constantly I feel that’s more than ready but what do you Guys think ?

What denom are you playing? $20 cost in 1000 hands sounds like a small loss in EV. As long as you have opportunities out there where $20 is an acceptable loss from mistakes over 1,000 hands, then it sounds like maybe you are "ready." It's really up to you. I'd still start small and make sure you are performing as expected in the real world before going nuts.

Beyond strategy, there still might also be some things to learn about taxes / comps etc that you need to prepare for before you go high limit as you have talked about before.

What is the purpose of playing it error free?

If you play a negative game, you will lose even you make no mistakes.

Playing perfectly is only necessary if you can make return more than 100% and you don’t want to give a single penny to the casino.

I suggest u just play as well as u can and enjoy the game and excitement when hitting the big jackpot.

Right. He says he has found a positive opportunity with the pay table plus comps. So playing error free is important, because that's exactly his situation.

We could debate whether playing correctly still has value on negative pay tables, but in this case that isn't the situation.

Without luck you can’t beat a negative game even you play perfectly. All you get is just losing slowly. What else can you get then?

For any hand people are not sure how to play on a negative game, I always recommend holding the cards that can yield premium hands. So you sacrifice a bit of overall return but gain some chance to hit jackpots with a bit luck. This is exactly true for 9/6 TDB where you are dealt with 3 to royal. Unless u are dealt 2 aces at the same time or suited A 10 and another high card, you should always go for the royal, though there are scenarios you shouldn’t.

And on 9/6 DDB, if you are dealt nonsuited Ace and J and Q, the correct strategy is to hold J and Q for most of time, but i would go for 4 aces holding an Ace. You won’t lose too much compared with holding JQ for long term but you could hit 4 aces with a bit luck. But you have to know the difference in advance, not just do it based on your hunch.

For the bad games like 8/5 JoB, playing perfectly on this game is nothing but pathetic. And I doubt if anyone is willing to learn the 8/5 Job strategy anyway.

So it’s all about your knowledge on the strategy of different holdings of cards and you should know when to take chance when you shouldn’t.

And if you don’t know the return of each possible holdings of a hand, obviously you wouldn’t know when to take the chance and you have no chance to beat the bank.

Wouldn't playing perfectly on a negative game extend your bankroll, earning you more coin-in per dollar, and potentially earn more comps?

I mean, that's the entire premise of making a negative game positive through comps.

And even if you can't make it positive, you could still earn more comps per dollar.
