I was always amazed at bob ross. I watch him for stres management , I cant draw for beans even if its horn and harduct baked beans !

Olds, do what you enjoy in life and life becomes more full. Your cartoons give me a smile after a long day of prepping for the big family dinner. First, of two with one more small one this weekend for the out of town kiddo, SIL, and grandkids.

Thanks for the kind words Ll and Merry Christmas. Funny, the husband and wife art teachers in our local school system said the same thing. Of course I was flattered. Not for my drawing, but Chip hangs them up in his classroom to give the kids inspiration by reading some of the captions. Glad they can make your day a bit easier. I draw them for stress relief myself. My grandfather on my dads side was an artist who Walt Disney begged to leave Pittsburgh in the 1939’s and go out west with him. My grandfather chose to stay with family in Pittsburgh. Here is one of his oil paintings. He even painted minature religious scenes on watch faces. The ship is a bit blurry because I took it with my phone and it is behind glass.

OTA stiff neck yes! I hear you I try and remember to try and turn the phone. I keep forgetting to have my daughter show me how to rotate the photo so it will post the correct way. What drives me nuts is drawing on the styrofoam takeout containers at the diner which 99 percent of these are on. They suck in the ink from my pen. I draw these while waiting for the check from breakfast or the Mrs hasn’t finished her thought. She gets aggregated when I don’t look up at her because I am drawing. So now, the waitress knows this and brings the take out container when we get our setups. Merry and Healthy Christmas to all and to all a good night!
