Here’s my cracker box approach. I never play the same game all the time. I find that when you switch to a different game you usually get a good hand within the first five tries and then I switch to a different game. Has brought me in some good money
One of the many things in VP that works---when it works.

What different games do you play, and can you play them all at least close to perfectly?

This is more like your selective memory. You forgot when it didn’t work.

I loved to hopscotch a hot bank. Hit and quit. I would tag up to all six machines with quads and take off. Of course, still small potatoes when it’s quarters. But it was satisfying. I’ve since abandoned boring JOB for slightly less boring BP. Today I did this with Full Houses. Last machine nice enough to reward my hopping with a quad.

The games I play vary on the type of poker machine I’m playing. Playing DW on a multiplier game gave me 4 deuces twice in the last week. I wouldn’t rely on that for a single line game. I practice on the trainer here a lot and I’m still learning to this day....my goal is to leave the casino with money, and my selective memory has me laughing when I deposit my voodoo money in the bank. What works for one may not work for others.

I’m not very superstitious but my experience lately cannot help to be superstitious. When I win , I win like crazy , like jackpots all day, but when I lose , I lose like crazy . In same machine , so it really feels like there’s hot and cold machines , sometimes I would change machine and get AWAK in first 20 hands . I know this is superstition but does anyone else feel this way ? I’m wondering if it makes sense to change machines or take breaks when it’s super “cold” for long time . ?

Since the game is random, any so called “pattern” could happen. People just often forget when nothing happens after changing the machine, for example.

This happened to me on Saturday. I decided to play to use my free plays and call it a year since I won’t get any comps for a while. (Yes I know it’s just the beginning of the year.) Changing machine costed me some serious money...

I was playing TDB super play and hit 4AWK

And I changed machine after dinner in another casino, bad luck happened...

If I didn’t change machine I could have won $12000 jackpot. And I only left with $4K.

However... this statement is unjustified. Because by no means I could hit the button at exact time to have exact same random numbers generated even I played the first game.

And I had times changing to JoB from TDB and hit 4AWK very fast for $125. I also had times hitting a big royal after changing machines for $8K. But all this good or bad things will be canceled out over time.

The fundamentals of randomness never change.
