Re: Back to Square One
Good to hear from you once again Phil.
I fly around 10 times a year. It was common for me to be sick after a flight. On a tip I shut of the air vent above my seat and have not been sick following a flight for many years. Of course if you are sitting near someone that is sick it might not matter. I found those air vents were the cause for my sickness.

I blasted those vents right on me. I guess they could put airplane air in a spray can and sell it as poisen. Vents have always been a problem where Legionaires disease is found too. I see that the site is a rockin and rollin now that Phil is back. It is good to keep the site active and hear all stories and points of view.

Case, thank you for bringing up an excellent point.
I have a strong dislike for air, vents or fans, blowing on me and i never use the vents when i fly.
Never a problem including last Sat. flight from FLL. Noticed 20-30 people with masks on though.
Note: of course the 14 days is not over yet.

Is Bill Ryan suspended, or did he just decide to leave? I am way out of the loop.

Being suspended does not apparently keep one from visiting the forum and reviewing posts. BR has not visited the forum since September so I assume his absence is voluntary. Remember he was moving from Vegas to Bisbee, AZ where there is no nearby casinos. He presumably has found activities other than VP to occupy his time.FloridaPhil wrote: ↑Thu Feb 06, 2020 12:20 pmDon't know. He stopped by the other forum on occasion. Like me, he has been suspended numerous times. He'll be back. You can bet on it.

"Ding, Ding, Ding, we have a winner"
I thought the winner was PPP?
Anyhow, welcome back Phil.

I never met Billy and don't know much about him. Like most of us, I suspect he isn't the same person in real life he seems to be on this forum. He is obviously intelligent, it occasionally showed through his posts. He knew he was being outrageous at times and he enjoyed it. His comments would have been better if he ditched the limericks. "Beware the Dollar Succubus" was my favorite. Everyone has something worth saying, even if you don't always agree.
