THANKS EVERYONE re STP ! WOW!
HAPPY DAYS ARE HERE AGAIN! Dedicated to all of you who made Super Times Pay sound like so much fun! I practiced on this site last night. With a winter storm approaching for tomorrow, today was my last chance to hit a royal this month. I was inspired to pick up my $25 mailed bonus and found a STP .25 DDB ten play machine at MGM Detroit. I hit a royal and it was going down all too fast! I had to fight with a stiff draw key on every play. I saved AKQ clubs and another royal showed up on one of the ten plays. Cool! Two royals in one day when I haven't nailed a royal all year. Why does the attendant have to pay. Why is 20000 showing on my royal. That would be $5000. Oh, now I see the pulsating 5 multiplier! The slot attendant encouraged me to have state taxes taken out - do they get a cut? After the pay off, my new favorite machine began to spit out quads! I really needed to stop at the grocery store and library on the way home, but decided to pass! YES!

Marie, I'm very happy for you and I'm also glad that you were able to hit on such a finicky game! Congratulations and you still have 11 months left to hit another

Marie, That's one helluva longshot hit! Congrats! Kinda interesting you would challenge a "race" with me to the next royal only two days ago....look what happens! I guess I'll raise some more controversy here but I'd have to agree with Fa La La La La.... La la la la's philosophy on this one....sock most of that 5 grand away and play the low-stakes/low-variance machines. I'd hate to see you lose that nice score right back to the machines. ~Benford's Law

Congrats Marie! Just be careful-those hits on STP are few and far between! I know cause my husband and I have been playing since it came out and the best Ive done is $3000 holding 1 card (7) on JW with a 3 multiplier and getting the other 4 7's!

Congratulations on the nice hit. It's nice to know that those nice hits that happen on STP here can also happen in real life.

Marie did you run over to Greektown and try to double it. I see on the weather channel you could get 8-10" of snow with a little sleet thrown in for good measure. Sounds like tomorrow is another Casino day.

Marie Congrats! It is a delight to see you get lucky and hit such a nice one.
I did not get a royal last year (at the casino but got two here one evening lol) so hope this year will be a great one with several royals for all!
I take out the tax when it is $5,000 then I don't worry about it late in the year. Had to do that twice--I enjoyed HAVING to do it!

Thanks everyone for the congrats, valid warnings and tax info! I'm having fun w 15 min. of alias fame. You ALL would have saved that AKQ but NONE of you would have been on that machine because of the poor pay table! I just wanted to get my feet wet in a casino with STP. The state taxes were taken out - the less to deal with if I had a problem in the pkg lot. No, Faygo, very funny! I had my casino fix for the day and would not have trusted my will power at GT. So grateful I filled up the tank on the way down! The ramp from 94 to I 75 was closed and there was a DETOUR up Woodward to get to I 75 N. I had not known about that detour, it was an easy, well-marked one and no one seemed to be following me. I have seen too many cars off icy expressways during a storm and it's a good time to stay at home. It's always amazing how fast the roads are cleared here after a storm! Let's hear about your next win!
