Tech58, surely you can understand that criticizing a politician is very different that personally demeaning other forum members here. Just because the President regularly calls his opponents "losers" does not make it acceptable to do so here towards other members.

Yeah I think Trump is a megalomaniac. I looked up the definition just to make sure. He is our President but unfortunately he is a horrible, selfish, unempathetic, immature human being. Therefore he is a terrible leader unable to bring people together unless they bow down and show appreciation to him.. He is playing with peoples lives and that is not a good thing.
Voters please remember the dem's playing politics with the virus bill. SOLAR PANELS??, UNION PROTECTION?? WEAKEN WELFARE WORK REQUIREMENTS?? And other dem wish list items that have NOTHING to do with the crisis at hand. Lives will be lost because of their scum-bag behavior!!
Trump's general lack of action for the last 2 months (other than shutting down flights to China quickly... that was smart) will cost even more lives. I just hope deaths in NY alone will stay under 10k. Not holding my breath.
He could have done so much more early on to keep this pandemic much more manageable but he didn't. He called it a hoax. Read his tweets. Later he maintained that he always knew there was a pandemic. as with many of the comments critical of trump's covid 19 actions, there are no suggestions as to what he should have done different, other than to close down the entire country. biden and the left called him a racist for the early call to ban chinese travel. each state elects it's own 'president', we call them governors. they are much better equipped to address necessary actions for all situations that occur in their specific territory. what is good for nys is not necessarily right for montana.
the ny governor has complained about his own citizens not taking the state's mandates seriously, not trump's fault. so far, over 4000 ventilators have been sent there, by the fed. more on on the way. according to cuomo today, there are currently 1300 on ventilators. i have not heard any discussion or press questions about what nys did wrong, not being prepared. instead, blame trump. let's remember, the city of ny and the state were both in bad financial shape, long before the virus hit. their tax base has been shrinking, due to loss of population, due to overbearing tax burdens. could the lack of money be the reason that cuomo did not buy the 16,000 ventilators that were offered to him a couple of years ago. coumo complains about not receiving enough money from just passed package. is he expecting the rest of the country to cover all the budget deficits that already existed?
nys has gotten thousands of ventilators, untold amounts of additional equipment, the feds are building additional hospitals, the navy medical ship is being sent there.
nys spent $958 million for a solar panel factory that was recently written down by $884 million. that nearly $900m would have bought a lot of ventilators. cuomo says every life is important, just after signing a bill that allows abortion, up to birth. now, nyc residents are fleeing their city, and spreading the virus around the country. think they are self isolating for 14 days? yeah, right.
All I can tell you is a month ago we had 15 cases of Covid19 in the entire country and Trump was conning us into thinking we had it under control and that number would soon go down to zero. Now we have over 80,000 cases with over 250 people dying today alone. Talk about someone that can't see at all. Trump was either purposely misleading us and or is a pathological liar. I do not trust his judgement.

yes, i read your posts. i am only repeating what dr. birx has stated, she is the expert. did you see that today, cuomo admitted that he has thousands of ventilators in storage? there goes your complaint about ny and ventilators.
of course, there are locations that need to take extra precautions, but not every place.
here is a question for you; if you were in charge and you were told you could open an area to normal activity (with precautions), but it was likely a couple folks might still die, would you keep it closed, until there was no chance of any death? if you were in charge and knowing up to 50,000 folks would die from the flu, would you close the country?
you're the leader, you decide. and, if you decide to keep the country open during flu season, is it fair to call you a murderer? that is what the left does.
