Like most everyone here, I am a prisoner in my own home. Restaurants, casinos, movie theaters and all other forms of entertainment are off limits. Where my son lives in South Florida, they even closed the boat ramps. Perhaps they believe someone can catch the virus from a fish? Last night the governor issued a stay at home order for all of Florida. We have nothing to do but watch TV news. I'm sick of news. I fear we are going to destroy the entire country to save 10%. Most of them are like me and would probably die anyway. Sorry, but this thing is getting ridiculous.
I shouldn't have made this statement. I apologize. I think the virus has us all a little crazy. Would I want my doctors to let me die so someone could go fishing or go to a restaurant? NO! The question I wonder about is where does this all end? I was fortunate enough to be born into one of the most prosperous times ever known. Baby boomers hit the jackpot. If I died tomorrow, I would be happy with my life. There was nothing I ever dreamed of that I didn't accomplish. Young Americans need a world where they can have the same opportunities. Some hard decisions must be made in the coming months. Some of those decisions will determine who dies, who lives and what kind of world is left when this is over.

Phil, I think some of us have had the same thoughts. No need to apologize. I have often thought about what would happen if we all just went about our lives. Is the cure worse? Think of how many people will become addicted to alcohol/drugs etc. if they lose their ability to earn a living. Suicides too. It is a legit question.

4/3/2020
Starting Credits - 44,063
Ending Credits - 43,563

Today was slightly better. Hit quad 5s once plus one straight flush for 250 credits. Halted play down 500 credits.

Anything that can happen in video poker will happen. This covers everything from making a million dollars in six months to going completely bankrupt.

Car,i agree on the similar thoughts and also similar questions.
I read an interview this morning with a medical professor and also called a "Virologist".
Answered, for me at least, a lot of questions, about viruses,WHO efforts, planning and preparedness,Fed/State/local responsibility and performance, treatments and how they work, vaccines, and much more.

Great read. Would post a link if i knew how to do that. It's on The Epoch Times and his name is Dr.Steven Hatfill.

The world is full of experts who want to sell you. Here in Florida we had a real estate salesman, William Joseph McCorkle, who marketed foreclosed real estate strategies. His TV commercials showed him in front of his company jet and his mega yacht talking about how he made millions with his strategy. I know all about this because I was asked to perform a consulting job for him. I declined. Why would anyone who made millions in real estate want to sell me a strategy? It is possible a few of his buyers made money. The authorities concluded selling information was more profitable than the information itself.

Video Poker advantage play strategy is useful. It teaches us how to find the best games and play them accurately. It teaches us the value of comps and incentives. Many players have benefited from this information, including me. If the experts would say advantage play strategy provides a better "chance" of making a profit, I would endorse it wholeheartedly. I can not support the claim that using this strategy removes all risk of loss. I believe this is unconscionable, immoral and ignores the possibility of financial and personal harm. Using a personal testimonial of six figure video poker income just so you can sell a few more books is doubling down on the damage.

These experts could right this wrong. They could come out and say there is a significant chance that a player can doing everything right and still lose. It wouldn't hurt book sales as addicted gamblers believe they can overcome any obstacle. It might save someone from depression, divorce, bankruptcy and financial ruin.

I interpret all that to mean: Yes.

I have stated my beliefs on this subject too many times. In my previous post, I stated how this issue can be resolved quickly and easily. Right now, the casinos are closed and will remain closed for some time. No one is thinking about beating anything except this virus.

I understand why "beat the casino" strategy sells. It is possible the people who are selling these ideas are in poor financial shape right now. If a few more sales is going to pay their bills, that is tragic. The truth is beating the casino is a million to one shot and it has nothing to do with mathematics.

So when you were trying to sell your Cheap System (CS), what did that make you?

I mean minus the cheesey commercials, the 200' yacht and the jet....

As everyone knows, I strongly disagree with the concept that playing positive video poker games computer perfect removes the risk of long term loss. I believe this is a marketing ploy aimed at filling casinos and selling books. Anything that can happen in video poker will happen. This covers everything from making a million dollars in six months to going completely bankrupt. We have no verifiable actual human data that proves this conclusively either way. I will continue to play every day and post my results. I assume the math says I will lose all my credits. I invite others to join me in their own simulations. Let's find out. At least it will give us something to do.
I'll take that as a "No" for tracking your coin-in in your daily results :D

No problem. Stay well.
