And for other reasons unrelated to this discussion, other than verifying my shitty self-esteem, I cried tonight. Go ahead and continue to make fun of me.
Best post of the day!
Not sure where you're going with this, but okay...

Hey Vman, thanks again for all of your math help over the years. By the way, I haven’t forgotten I owe you 14 quatrillion beers. Wouldn’t it be something if they came up with a craft beer with that perfect taste that warded off the Coronavirus. I know they are working on sonething now with tobacco plants, so why not find a good beer to help while they are at it. Remaining rainy, damp, and cold up here for now. That is certainly not helping with cabin fever. I can only play so much vp here on the contests. Prayers continuing for everyone to stay well, especially those on the front lines. Trying to jog my memory. Is GF called M?
Yes, a beer to drink this all away would be nice,
even if it was the most horrible tasting thing in the world. I write M in reports because that's her first initial. I don't really call her that, but her 10-year-old cousin does. M is not a real fan of being actually called M in person.

You deserve your self opinion.
Worst post of the YEAR!!

Vman, due to this post, and possible other offenses (details not required),i have a request.
Please consider accepting my sincere apology. If not i understand.

I have two family members in harms way in nursing, and my wife could probably not survive if infected.
I am, like you and many others, stressed by this crisis. This is no reason or explanation for my posts, just the truth.

We all are. I would just like to see the best possible outcome from this. And people trying to stay away from each other and practicing good hand washing is unfortunately one of the best ways we got right now to reduce the spread...

Anyone hazard a guess about casino re-boot time frame when compared to other elements of the economy?
Large groups, close proximity, and an already unhealthy environment. :ouch:
My guess is, slightly above filled sports stadiums, but not far up the list.

Back to normal in 18 months if everything goes perfect between now and then. Small steps in the meantime. We are at the mercy of this virus until we do more testing and develop a vaccine. I would not be surprised if some areas of the country less affected by the virus open up their casinos around the first part of June with safeguards in place. Masks, taking peoples temperature before allowed in, no buffets, limited occupancy, every other machine turned off or removed, less people allowed per table game. In Vegas perhaps some of the outlying casinos but nothing on the strip until we see how this first phase works. We have flights booked in August for 7 star event so I hope at least some of the CET properties will be open by then.

I sincerely hope you are right. I am planning for five years or more until complete economic recovery. Longer if the Democrats win big in November.
