When Will the Casinos Reopen?
Anyone care to take a guess when the casinos will open back up for business? Has the State of Nevada made any comments about this? Do you think the virus will bring on-line gambling to America? Comments?

Realizing that we are all getting a little quarantine/stir crazy Ted, i would like to point out a few facts.
That post was one of FP's more relevant and cogent, and certainly one of the shortest on record.
I am not sure if the day after Easter is a religious holiday somewhere, but cutting him a little slack
seems a Christian thing to do.
Besides.Dammit, i have an urge myself.

You're right tech, I guess I can give Phil some slack. Wow, I feel like something's come over me.

Me too. I have decided to cut myself and the forum some slack and back off on my opinions. I have not changed my beliefs and I know I am not going to change the beliefs of others. This is a gambling forum. People come here to read happy stories about winning, not have their hopes dashed by someone who plays quarters.
My wife and I have been discussing what we will do when the casinos reopen. I hope it will be sometime in the next month. So far, we believe we will cut back on the number of visits rather than play cheap. To us, the best thing about playing video poker is our overnight hotel stays. If we play max coin quarters, the casino will continue our offers. If we don't feel like losing money, we will stay home.
Everyone should be free to express their own opinions as long as it doesn't become overbearing or repetitive. Nothing is gained by continually arguing over the same issues. It turns the forum into a Jerry Springer TV show clone. It's somewhat entertaining, but it never accomplishes anything worthwhile.

One question that running through my mind relates to play requirements to achieve tier status at various properties. Are they going to be adjusted downwards?
I am assuming the answer is yes, but you just never know.

Excellent question OMT.
I think their "cash-cow" players (slots and most table games) will get grandiose return enticements.
Less valued players (some skilled VP and other known suspects) not so much.

I believe you will see an increase in offers and incentives when the casinos reopen. The chain of losing and recovery has been broken and they will need to brings players back to the fold. I expect to take advantage of them while they last.onemoretry wrote: ↑Tue Apr 14, 2020 8:27 amOne question that running through my mind relates to play requirements to achieve tier status at various properties.
